“Suprisingly Impressed”

My husband and I stayed here to be closer to his sons' home. I would have not chosen this hotel if not for that purpose, but I was very surprised at how well this older hotel was maintained. As old as the building is I would have expected it to "smell" that way, but it was VERY clean smelling every time I walked into the building. This is very important to me. Upon check in as my husband and I opened the door to our room, there was a SCREAMING child next to us that we could hear quite clearly. We went to the desk and asked for a different room and was immediately taken care of with no questions, or rude remarks you usually receive at most hotels. THe price was wonderful and the service was great. Only complaint was the vending machines were completely empty. COnvenience store around the corner so... Thanks Expedia.

“Excellent Deal!”

This was a great deal for anybody sightseeing in DC. It's right off the freeway, just hop on the 90 north, follow the signs that say "Downtown Washington", and you pop out at the Smithsonian 10 miles later. The hotel was clean and seemed recently remodeled on the inside, although the outside didn't look so hot and some of the pavement was broken. The beds were very comfy, and the microwave and refrigerator were very handy. There's plenty to eat around Woodbridge if you have a car, and there's a GINORMOUS mall about 2 miles away. Staff was friendly and helpful, and looked up directions on how to get to the hotel over the phone for me. Easy to get to from Dulles or Reagan airports, it's on the wrong side of DC from BWI (I found that out almost too late and nearly missed my flight home!) AC, but no pool, and the breakfast was minimal at best, but I'd definitely stay again.

“Outstanding Value!”

This is an older hotel, and it's missing a lot of the amenities that hotel chains have to offer. However, our room was *spotless,* the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, and overall, we were really pleased with everything. This is an outstanding value for the price. The biggest surprise for us was the friendly and service-oriented staff. I haven't experienced that in a very long time.

“Clean & comfy!!!!”

This hotel has a very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very clean, housekeeping staff displayed bath towels beautifully, beds very comfortable. One of the quietest we have ever stayed at.

“If you must go to Woodbridge, VA, this is a good place to stay.”

No problems. Just a decent, ordinary, no-frills hotel. The price was right and the hotel was clean and quiet enough. Staff were friendly. Walking distance to a nice restaurant/bar with dockside tables: "The Water's Edge" Walking distance from bus stop, Amtrak and commuter rail station. Neither the hotel nor Woodbridge are exciting destinations, but if you must be in Woodbridge, VA, this is a good place to stay.

They have made some improvements, and the hotel is as good as usual.

“Pleasant surprise”

This hotel is located literally at the Northern border of Woodbridge, and there are no food or shopping next to the hotel, but Potomac Mills Mall and all the other shopping is less than 10 minutes away. The room was quite large, the beds comfortable. My only advise is to request a room on the east side of the hotel, as there are train tracks across the street from the hotel that are used heavily.

Have stayed there before and will probably stay again. Price is important in the decision to stay here.

“Very Clean-But bare”

Extremely clean,but the barest of necessities. We were there for a conference and need a clean place to sleep and shower. This hotel served us well.

“Why not return.”

The Hotel staff were very friendly, but unable to give directions to local shopping and resturants. No elevator. This was not enjoyable in 90+ weather and no A/C in the Hotel hallways. Delux room was not a suite, more just an extra bed, no extra TV etc.
