“Eager to be of good service”

If anything, the staff at this resort struck us as a little too eager. It's a great place for a family to stay, with plenty to keep the kids busy and a large pool. We were there for a quiet weekend away and enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi that weren't mentioned in our room description, but found the calls from staff to check on our satisfaction a bit intrusive.

“Best vacation we've ever had!”

Tamarack Resorts was wonderful! We had a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. It was so nice to have alot of room to move around in and fix our own meals, saving us money. Out our deck we could see a water fall and pond that has paddle boats you could use. It was so peacefull to sit outside. They had indoor/outdoor tennis courts and swimming pools, playground equipment, a laundry facility and lots of area to walk and enjoy the view. The only thing negative is that they needed a separate basketball court. The one they have is shared with a tennis court that was always busy. I would highly recommend Tamarck Resorts to anyone.

“What a nice surprise!”

I booked through Expedia and was expecting a normal hotel room, but was pleasantly surprised to find we had accommodations that I would characterize as a condo. The kitchen was fully stocked and featured a full-size refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The small dishwasher was adequate for our needs. Loved the small pond. The kids caught tons of little fish and really enjoyed the paddleboats. Note: No housekeeping was provided during our stay and we had to take our our own trash and trade in our own wet towels, but that was okay!

“Very Impressed”

We wanted a nice place to stay, just far enough but not too far from all the attractions. This place was wonderful it was a quiet area but was perfect distance from all attractions. The room was more than we expected and the amount of things to do just around the hotel was great. The staff was very nice and ready to help with whatever we needed. I will definitely stay here when I visit the dells again. Very Impressed !!!

Had a wonderful time at the hotel/resort. It was very clean. Employees were very helpful and kind. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. It was very relaxing.

“Perfect Wisconsin Dells Getaway”

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tamarack a Festiva Resort! We were impressed with the cleanliness of our unit, and the beautiful grounds surrounding the resort. We picked this resort due to its location. We didn't want to be right next door to all the Dell's attractions. While this resort is located in a more rural area, it is still a very short car ride to get to all the many attractions. Due to the shortness of our stay, we were unable to take advantage of any of the abundant amenities offered by this resort. They offer free paddle boats, nice pools, racquetball courts, a game room, daily organized activities, and many more. Depending on the location of the unit, it can be a very long walk to get to the activities though. This would be a wonderful resort to bring the whole family to and stay for a week! We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely stay here again when we return to the Dell's area. If looking for a more peaceful less touristy activity, I highly recommend checking out Mirror Lake State Park which is only a few minutes from the resort. It is a beautiful state park with hiking trails, a gorgeous lake, and boats available for rent.

“Rent your own townhouse for suite pricing!”

This hotel suprised me- It's like renting your own townhouse. It's in its own private building and everything. You can rent bicycles to ride around for the whole family.

“unexpectedly surprised”

Very nice! Everything was great and all the extras were nice. It was not a problem driving the kids to the activity center knowing that they would have fun. I know this was a complaint of some. I was not bothered by it. We had a 2 bedroom suite ordered online from expedia. We ended up in a two bedroom condo. I don't know if this was a upgrade or if that is all there is in this place. Either way it was nice and if my children did not have school we would have stayed alot longer. All the staff were very pleasant and nice.

“Great getaway”

As Wisconsin Dells was centrally located, myself and 2 friends decided to meet for a weekend of talk and relaxation. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms.And the upstairs bathroom even had a whirlpool tub. We enjoyed sitting an relaxing in the dining room and playing board games, not far from the gas fireplace. The location was central enough in the Dells to make travel easy, and yet we weren't in a noisy area. We'd all three love to come back next year for our "gathering".
