“Comfort Inn - Winston-Salem”
It was a very pleasant stay at the Comfort Inn. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
“Easy Place to stay”
Right off the highway - great bed/pillows. Friendly service. Nothing negative to speak of. If I was headed the same way I'd stay there again.
“Great room for the money”
People - you get what you pay for! This was a wonderful hotel for the price. The woman, Ebony, who checked us in was delightful. Our room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The room was inexpensive enough that I felt free to spend more money on other things while in Winston Salem!
“Great location for Wake Forest Game”
The hotel is older but very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful from check in until check out after breakfast the next morning.
“Visiting Wake Forest University”
The hotel was convenient to go to Wake Forest to visit the campus. There are plenty of eating places near by and a movie theater across the street on the main road. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. My only concern was the appearance of the tub.
“Nice inside, terrible parking spaces outside”
My family stayed here while in town for a college football game. While our room was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful, I do have some suggestions for improvement. The website states that there is a hot tub along with the indoor pool. There is no hot tub. It was removed years ago. They should correct their website. The continental breakfast was adequate, but could be improved with another waffle maker. We gave up waiting for the single one to be available. But the biggest complaint is the parking lot. While they may have succeeded in creating enough parking spaces for the maximum number of guestrooms, they did so by making the parking spaces too small for an average car to fit within the lines and still have room to open the doors.
“Never again when we visit our son at school...”
This was the worst hotel in which we have ever stayed. Housekeeping opened our door one morning at 9 am without knocking. We were getting dressed and told them to come back later. They never came back to clean the room. The next day, they knocked for a change at 9 am, and we told them again to come back later, which this time they did. The bathroom floor was never cleaned over the 4 nights we were there, nor the bathtub. The elevator most times would not go down, which was concerning. Breakfast was of poor quality, we only went down once, preferring to go out and pay for it thereafter. The front desk help brought their children at night and sat in the lobby watching TV. The front desk help were not helpful, many times ignoring us as we came and went while they were on their mobile phones. The end of the hallway was smoking, but it permeated the entire hall and was very noticeable standing inside our own door. We couldn't wait to leave and won't go back.
