“Excellent - Recommended”

Stayed for 2 nights. The suite really feels like home, from the spacious interior, to the beds. The mattresses were firm, and the linens were high-density cotton - basically slept like I was in my own bed. The hotel itself, surprisingly, is a bit on the older side of things (you can tell from the hallways), but in the rooms, everything is posh. Winnipeg isn't the nicest city but you can't go wrong with this hotel.

“Great Value!”

I stayed at Place Louis Riel three nights over the last couple months on two separate business trips and I have had a positive experience on both occasions. This hotel is an "all suite hotel" and the the two rooms I stayed in had a fully furnished kitchen, marble countertops, flat screen TVs and leather coach and/or chair. This past week, I had a corner room which was pretty much a one-bedroom condo. For the price I paid, this was hard to beat. The rooms have been renovated, however, I noticed that the corridors of some floors haven't been updated yet. The covered but not heated parking was convenient and service was really friendly. I will definitely stay there again instead of other well known chains which often cost twice as much.

“A very nice stop!”

It was great to have so much space with 2 little kids. We stopped here in the midst of a cross-Canada drive with 2 little ones under 4. The kitchen was super handy. Loved that it still felt like a modern condo but was so family friendly. Staff were very friendly.

“second chance”

We had not stayed at The Louis for about 5 years and found quite a difference in the rooms. They have been renovated and updated very nicely. We had a very good stay and would highly recommend it. We will be back.

Very comfortable room! Lots of space and the most comfortable chair and ottoman I've experienced in a hotel. Kitchen is great.

“Place Louis Riel, a great place to stay”

The staff is very courteous and pleasant, very polite and helpful. They have different pillows to suit your comfort. It is very quiet and right in the centre of town.

“Winnipeg Louis Riel Hotel and Suites”

It is a nice hotel, close to downtown and different restaurants and shops. The room is nicely done and maintained. The hotel has several lifts and a good restaurant that serves buffet and from the menu breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has room service as well. Did not have time to try all the offered facilities. Friendly and efficient staff, business center and own Parking.

“enjoyable stay”

We stayed at the executive studio which was very spacious and updated interior decor. The kitchenette was handy for late night snack and early morning coffee. All the electric appliances were stainless steel and small appliances were all kept in clean, functional condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we asked for extra towels, they were delivered to us in a jiffy-very impressive. We were in Winnipeg in mid April, so the weather flip-flopped from warm to cold days. so the thermostat was not that fast in responding, the room was stuffy for us the first night. Once we informed front desk of the problem, a fan was brought to us right away and dinner voucher was given to us as a form of apology. We certainly enjoyed our 4 days stay here.
