I can highly recommend this hotel. It's where I will be staying when I come back to Winnipeg.

“The Louie”

One of the nicest Hotels Downtown Winnipeg. For 10-20 dollars more than your average room, you get something quite special.

“Very comfortable and comforting”

I have say our recent stay at the Louis Riel was excellent. Considering all the news recently about the crime in Winnipeg we were wondering about staying downtown. The security at the hotel is excellent. One of the things we liked was you needed a room key to access the elevator. The room was very comfortable and spacious and made for a relaxing night in Winnipeg. We would definitely stay again if we are traveling to the city.

“Highly recommended”

I don't have extravagant needs, but this felt like a bit of luxury. King size bes, comfy pillows, nice view (we even saw fireworks)Unfortunately we couldn't make use of the lovely kitchenette adequately stocked with the basic requirements needed for the creation of meals for 2. Helpful and cheery desk staff.

“Comfortable in Winnipeg”

Large room with kitchen, would be good for extended stays. Good location, about 600m from railway station so easy walk even with some luggage. Very comfortable premises.

“A delight ful surprise”

Very pleased withe hotel. Amazingly quiet given in the middle of the city. Elevators could be faster. Room well appointed, clean - bed was incredible. Defintely stay there again. Reasonable price

“Very Nice and Convenient”

I stayed at this hotel for business purposes and I couldn't have made a better choice. Great service and the rooms was huge. I suggest spending the extra charge and getting the Luxury type room. Also eat at the Keg steakhouse around the corner too.

“Excellent Experience”

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff and also informed of an upgrade to our room. The room was beautiful and more than we could have imagined. We would stay here again and also recommend this hotel to any traveler.

“Convenient to all attractions and cooking facilities, a great combination”

Very friendly, helpful staff. launderette facilities and an adjoining restaurant which does serve beer and wine despite the menu on the window. Adjoining shop expensive but then it does seem to be open all hours. For steaks buy from The Bay-delicious. Lots of restaurants nearby and convenient for all museums although rather a lot of itinerants about so I wouldn't venture too far after dark. spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchens. All at a very reasonable price. Would stay there again.

“Loved It!”

We had a corner suite, there was a full kitchen so we could make frozen pizza and there were even pots and pans so we had homemade meals several of the nights we were there. It seemed like home immediately and the front desk and cleaning ladies were extremely nice.
