“Great location”
Great location, central to everything, clean, carpets are looking a little worse for wear, due for replacement. Nice fitness area. Great Pub attached (Elephant and Castle)
“don't like being charged for something I didn't have”
I did like the hotel it was clean, beds were great, heated bathroom floor was great, however, I did not have a rental car and was charged $15.00 a day for parking, I never rented a car!! I sent a complaint directly to the hotel for these charges it is not right, we went everywhere by taxi, other than that it was a nice hotel. I won't go back if I do not get a credit. We were there for 5 nights for a wedding, we came from CT and there were 17 of us.
“Very happy guest”
We definitely satisfied with out stay but will be more happy if there's microwave where I can warm up my milk before I go to bed. Cleanliness is very well maintained during our stay. Definitely, we will be back.
“Going back at the end of August”
We have stayed at this hotel many times and absolutely love it. The staff and the hotel are great. The Resturant Elephant and Castle is wonderful and totally reminds us of the English pud we spent a lot of our time in when we were in the UK. Can't miss with this hotel.
“Very Clean with Professional Service”
This hotel has a decent environment. I was surprised by the internet and parking fees. Otherwise, I would stay here again.
“great quality, great service, great price !”
Plenty of compliments for this great hotel with perfect service. I was a bit worried about the location and the size of the hotel. Instead friendly staff and roomy room made my stay there really a bliss. Also to note free internet and nice water boiler to make comfort optimal, even more for a business trip. Only disappointment : did not have time to take advantage of any of the two available swimming pools !!
“Best downtown location”
I spent a week at the Delta. Very good location, close to City Place mall, the big public library, lots of bars and restaurants (try Oscar's deli for classic Winnipeg Jewish food), the Convention Centre and the MTS Centre. My room was quiet, clean and well-equipped. I slept very well in the very comfy queen-sized bed. I didn't try out the Blaze restaurant and lounge but did eat and drink at the attached English-style pub. Very decent food. I have also stayed at the Fairmount, the Louis Riel Suites and the Portage Avenue Holiday Inn but I think the Delta is the best for value, location and quality. Convenient underground parking as well.
“Loved it.”
Easy check in, a nice room, a great bed, a heated bathroom tile floor, and a very nice pool and fitness facility. Guest services was great with information even about buying a long distance phone card for calling the States which was just dimes for long distance compared to dollars. Would definitely go back to stay there.
“Comfortable Hotel for Families”
Very good hotel for families with young children; on-site restaurant needs to staff and plan better to deal with high demands
“convenient and comfortable”
very good location comfortable reasonable price good service
