This property was fine I just didn't like the office because they had some high smelling incense that was unpleasant to smell...the management need to be more considerate to their customers because folks give sensitivity to smells

I’m from Kalamazoo Michigan and I have been traveling since I was a little girl and always stay in Motel 6 in the United States. We all know the reputation for Motel 6 in the United States is not great, that they usually are not five star or high-quality motels. They’re just usually conveniently located and priced right for a night or two stay. I don’t have a high expectation for a motel. Once I arrived, I expect to have the same low expectations of this Motel 6 and boy was I wrong! this Motel 6 is under new ownership (2021- 3 years ago) it has been remodeled. I met the woman who owns the hotel with her family and she was kind and friendly. The motel was well above my expectation ! The room was huge, clean, new bedding, nice corner, seat, table and chair, huge bathroom, Nice station to set up my coffee machine and supplies above the microwave and refrigerator/freezer. This is located off the highway a few miles from the Canada bridge and the US Tunnel. I definitely will stay there again and recommend this motel if you are looking for affordable, clean and conveniently located motel, this is it! Well maintained, beautifully renovated Motel 6 this definitely a place to say an affordable price.

Motel is listed as "pet friendly". When we checked in, we had to give the desk clerk $100 and were told not to let the dog on the bed because of dog hair. Don't they wash the bedding. When we checked out they inspected the room and if it "passed", they we would get our $100 back. Is that"pet friendly"? There were marks from glasses from the previous occupant still on the tables, garbage all around the property and mirrors and floors were dirty.

Key cards do not work for the time of reservation. Reserved 2 nights and had to go each night to get a new card. Smoking outside my room when we don’t smoke. Constant traffic in and out parking lot.

Room service is done on a per request basis in which case you have to let them know 1 day before! This is just some none sense. Beds should be made everyday, and trash thrown out as well when they give you the tiniest bucket from dollorama they could find. Everything was very dated and old feeling, and you could see the dirt in cracks and crevices. Also the "blankets" they provided felt like oversized thin towels wrapped between essentially drapes/curtain feeling sheets. Not the most pleasant thing. We also booked two rooms which supposedly were to be the same in terms of quality, yet one room provided a somewhat newer AC machine with auto turn on/off when reached a certain temp. Other one featured a pretty dated one which you had to manually turn on/off depending on if your feeling hot/cold all the time, pretty annoying. Also the TV in this room didn't have its remote available so you had to manually get up and click the buttons on the tv itself, like what is this, the 70's? Overall, pretty poor experience.

Beg bug in room. Only refunded me for 3 nights I paid for 5. First night had bloody sheets. They moved me. The second room had bed bugs. The motel is disgusting.

It was alright other then the room was a bit dirty and we had the jacuzzi room with a jacuzzi that’s jets did not work. I informed him of this when checking out and did not receive any compensation although the jacuzzi tub is why we payed extra for that room. Other then that the stay was fine

The exterior isn't the cleanest or prettiest looking however the staff were pleasant and the room was nice, clean, and quiet. For only $112 this place was excellent and I will be using them again when I next travel to Windsor
