Good for overnight stayPosted 22-Jul-2014
Nice and quiet. Good for family of 5. Sauna a plus.

Location: It was close to the highway and a McDonalds so we were able to get a decent breakfast.
It took 25 minutes to check in. There were only 2 people ahead of us in line. There were two employees, but only one was working with the customers. The whole hotel is supposedly non-smoking, yet it reeked of smoke. Our first room was uninhabitable because of the smell. The second was marginally better. The carpet was filthy - I had to wear my shoes because it was damp and sticky. The thermostat did not work. We slept under a single sheet because the bedspread was gross. We could not get out of there fast enough.

Great valuePosted 18-Dec-2013
Pros: Easy access to freeway. Nice restaurant/bar next door. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna.
Cons: Hot tub could have been hotter. Bathroom floor was tacky. Almost like it had to much cleaning chemical residue left on it. We just put a towel down.
Staff was friendly and we thought it was nice for the price we paid.

SERVICEABLE FOR THE PURPOSEPosted 24-Nov-2013
Pros: Location was great for the event I was attending.
Cons: Was fine for the purpose and the price.
Location: Sun Prairie has some nice restaurants, including a Culver's and several diners. Madison has restaurants, shopping, golf and lots of sight-seeing.
I stayed there on a Friday through Sunday morning. I was in town for a conference that was meeting in a facility on Pepsi Way. So I didn't stay in the room much except to sleep. For that purpose, this room was fine. And the price was right, too. I did not eat any breakfast at the hotel, because I love having breakfast at the diner/bakery located in downtown Sun Prairie, about a 15-minute drive from this hotel.

Stayed overnight whilst on the road between Thunder Bay and Bowling Green OH. Nothing exceptional about the hotel but nothing unacceptable either. Apart from a funky smell in the hallway the room was comfortable and suited our needs for a place to sleep.

Days Inn...don't expect muchPosted 11-Nov-2013
Pros: comfy pillows, continental breakfast
Cons: sheets (get new ones), touch ups (peeling paint, burned carpet spots, etc.), make hot tub hot
Location: Near Madison, probably about a 20 minute drive. Gas stations are nearby, not much other than that.
If you like small black hair, then this Days Inn is right up your alley. We picked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest and not too far from Madison. It's kind of in a somewhat industrial district away from the city. The hot tub was like a lukewarm bath, so if you pick this hotel because it has a pool and hot tub, don't expect a soothing retreat. The room was okay. The sheets were scary. I was a little hesitant to lay on them at first upon finding multiple hairs. Having lived in third world conditions for a few years, I was fine with it. By picking this hotel, you're getting basic lodging for a low price. If you expect more, you will walk away heart broken.
