“Wonderful place to stage from in Namibia”

Great rooms and service, except we were given a smoking room to start when we had requested non-smoking and had to get a new room assigned. Restaurant had excellent food and service.

“Best Hotel in Windhoek”

From arriving to departing the staff at this hotel couldn't do enough for us and I would certainly recommend it as the best hotel in windhoek. On our early arrival our room wasn't quite ready so we were directed up to the executive lounge and made most welcome by a very nice young lady, Gervalda who went out of her way to greet us and made us very comfortable and offered to do anything she could to make our stay a nice one which it sure was. We were upgraded to an Executive room which was fantastic so a really big thank you to Gervalda. We have recently moved to Walvis Bay and hope to go back to the Hilton Windhoek very soon and hope to get the same service.

“A recommended hotel”

A convenient location for the centre of town, and viewing the historic sites. Easy to access from the airport for completely new visitors to Namibia. Lovely views from the roof terrace. Good varied restaurants - reasonably priced food. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money considering this is a Capital city (Windhoek) hotel. Don't be put off if you arrive in the evening on a Sunday - most of the city closes that day!

“Probably the best breakfast in the world”

From the greeting at the entrance until the departure, every member of the staff was a pleasure to meet. Extremely high standards throughout the hotel, in decor, hygiene, space. I have never seen a better breakfast buffet anywhere in the world, and everything was fresh, the fruits, pastries, rolls, cooked items. I only downgrade (slightly) the room comfort because I don't really like open-plan bathrooms as part of the sleeping area. Sharing a room with another guy, do I really want to watch him in the bath ? No. The room quality was superlative, with wonderful white linen.

“hilton windhoek”

very nice staff and facilities, however, a straightforward problem took hours to resolve. The buffet in the dining room was great!!! The roof bar was enjoyable as well

“Should not be opened yet”

The hotel was only opened one week before my stay. There were no room service menus, when I asked for a room service menu it was never brought to my room. The parking was in a dusty construction lot next the the hotel. They were understaffed at the bar; it took me 10 minutes to get my drink order in and then after 15 minutes of waiting I left. There is an amazing roof top bar, but it closes at 6:30 PM. The hotel has great potential, but they should have worked out some of the problems before opening to maintain the Hilton standard. I was very disappointed and felt I did not get my money's worth.
