I have stayed at several Country Inn & Suites throughout the country and find them to be comfortable, clean, and friendly.

“AC Fan”

Nice place except the AC fan turns on and off and make a lot of noise.

“Wish the Pool was Cleaner”

We've stayed at this hotel previously and both that stay and this one were very pleasant. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite good; however, both times we've been to this hotel, the pool has been pretty poorly maintained. The water is so murky you cannot see the wall markings below the surface. The hot tub water was slightly better but both visits had dirty brown foam floating around the edges. We were hoping to take a dip but were afraid of the dirty water.

“stop over in Winchester”

We stopped at the Country Inn and suites on our way to our weeklong vacation destination. It is our tradition to find a Country Inn and suites along our route to start our vacation and get a jump-start on traveling. This one did not disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the pool area was very clean. The service was not as friendly as some we have had in the past but not unpleasant at all. we enjoyed our breakfast and the pool before we headed on our way.

Heat was difficult to regulate, either too hot or too cool. Predominantly too hot.y

“Cozy, good for stopover”

Make sure to take proper exit as eventhough hotel off the highway hard to find if you take wrong exit. Comfortable, clean room. Good breakfast. Although no restaurants onsite a few are within walking distance of hotel.

“Nice”

I was there for one night. Very comfortable room. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Nice lobby. Down side, if you are on the highway side, the trucks air braking is very annoying.

“Nice hotel but uncomfortable beds”

This is a new hotel. It is conveniently located beside an Outback steak house and a McDonald's restaurant. It seems like an excellent facility overall. Our rooms were nice, but both my wife and I found that the beds were very uncomfortable, and we both had trouble sleeping. Our kids, in the other room, didn't complain.

“Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Winchester, VA”

Although the hotel was clean, it lacked in quality service and consideration for the consumers comfort and safety. I would think twice before booking this hotel in the future. We were expecting to have a microwave and a small refridgerator in the room and there was not either in the room. Also on the second floor, the buttons for the elevator were broken and in order to make it work you had to stick your finger into the socket were the button should be, as well the secord floor hallway A/C unit was not working, leaving the hallway with a musty smell to it outside of our room. The breakfast room was not kept well stocked as we had to wait each morning for items to be repleneshed, even after telling the person taking care of the area. The staff just seemed to be too laid back and unconcerned and uninterested about these issues when presented with them from this consumer.
