“Brilliant, best hotel in the UK”
I have stayed in hotels all over the UK and this is the best. The main building is brilliant with big rooms, antique 4 poster beds in most rooms. The staff are the friendliest I have seen and cannot do enough for you. The food is top class. This is a warm, friendly hotel and much cheaper than others in the area. It is about 9 miles from Bath and is central for visiting Stone Henge and other visitor sites in the south west.
“Great Place!”
What a wonderful place! It is a cozy B&B with great amenities. The rooms are in great shape and the beds are really comfortable. The views of the countryside are breath-taking and it's really convenient to spend a day in nearby Bath. The grounds are well taken care of and from the looks of it, I'd love to host an event there. The pool, courtyard, and event halls look very inviting.
“Hidden Gem!”
This was an unexpected treat! An early 1900's large country home/estate that makes you feel like you've gone back in time. Very well kept up, staff was great and rooms were gorgeous. They had a great bar and library with a roaring fire. Very homey feeling without old and decrepid. Grounds were stunning. Worth a few nights if there to just relax, walk, read, etc. Much more character and nicer staff than any big box hotel...highly recommend this country gem!
“Will definitely stay here again”
Rudloe Hall has a fantastic atmosphere to it, and is conveniently located only 15 - 20 minutes drive from historic Bath. The gardens and surrounding countryside are stunning, as is the old hall itself. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the rooms were well-appointed and comfy
“Un hötel de charme avec un tres beau cadre et personnel très aimable”
Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l'hötel dans le bätiment principal, grande maison victorienne, pas encore complètement restaurée (mais qui le sera prochainement, apparemment). La chambre était grande et confortable et meublée dantiquités, et donnait sur un jardin absolument magnifique. Nos amis ont dormi dans l'annexe, qui est un bâtiment récent, et ont également apprécié leur séjour. Le petit déjeuner était d'une très grande qualité et le personnel extrêmement aimable. L'hôtel est un peu loin des villes, mais est très bien situé entre Bath et Corsham, deux très belles villes (prévoir au moins une journée pour Bath, Corsham peut se visiter en quelques heures)et le village de Box (très sympathique) pas loin. C'est un hôtel avec beaucoup de caractère. Passant trop de ma vie dans des chambres d'hôtel de grande chaïne internationale, qui sont toutes pareilles et sans caractère aucun, j'ai vraiment apprecié mon séjour à Rudloe Hall, mais ceux qui recherchent la modernité et l'uniformité avant tout, devraient s'abstenir.
“good hotel”
great location for a visit to Bath. Very chearful and helpful staff.... Room was full of character and really comfortable but no hairdryer. and would benefit from a little information in the room, as we arrived late afternoon and could have done with a bite to eat, but found we could only get coffee.
“Victorian Charm”
There is much charm associated with this old home made into a hotel. However, along with the charm come the problems of up-keep of an older building such as this. Looking past these miner inconveniences, it was an enjoyable stay with an amazing view!
