“Overall really good stay”

We stayed on the third floor of the Riverview Suites (they have a different name on the actual building which can throw you off a little). We were very impressed with our room. You walked in, the first door on the left was the bedroom (bed was clean, very comfortable, amazing pillows), second door on the left was the bathroom and hall opened up into the living room/kitchen area. We had an island in our room, small refrigerator, coffeepot, etc. It was very nice and convenient. The only bad thing we had happen was that the towel rack and shower curtain rod didn't seem to be very secure on the wall, and the towel rack ended up falling off the wall. However, I called the front desk and they came over immediately to fix it. Overall, it was really a great hotel. The riverwalk is right in front of you, and the Battleship is directly across the waterway. I would definitely stay there again. It is nicer than the Hilton and usually cheaper than the Hilton.

“Great Location”

Best Place to stay in Wilmington. Surrounded by restaurants and bars while staying in your very own condo overlooking Cape Fear River. I wouldn't stay anywhere else except maybe the Hilton. You get to use the Hilton's amenities and everybody there is great!

“Memorial Day in Wilmington”

We have stayed at the Riverview Suites in downtown Wilmington several times and were pleasantly surprised to get a great rate on Memorial weekend for a 2-night stay. We were able to check in a little early and our suite was clean and beautifully decorated. You can't go wrong with Riverview Suites as far as location - walking distance to both fine dining and casual dining, beautiful views of the river, directly in front of the Battleship - it's just perfect! We enjoyed the pool both days of our stay - right across the street at the Hilton. The service desk was helpful when we called to ask for extra towels - they were brought within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Riverview Suites to anyone traveling to the Wilmington area.

“Roomy, Comfortable Great Location”

We stayed here for a wedding from May 6-8, 2011. The room was comfortable for us. Three adults and an infant. The bedroom is seperate and has a door so that helped with privacy. I also had relatives in another room and they had a really nice kitchen area with a bar you could eat at. Both rooms had a big bathroom and a comfy couch that turned into a bed. The hotel is right on the riverwalk and close to everything downtown. We didnn't need a rental car because the hotel picks you up and drops you off at the airport for free and we coud walk everywhere! The "heated" pool at the Hilton was freezing, so I'm not sure if it was heated or just too early in the season. And the Hilton's breakfast buffet was delicious. I would definitly stay here again, reasonably priced and great accomodations

“Great location”

Great location, large rooms with a private setting. It is nice not always to be a large hotel and here is the change. You check in at Hilton just down the road but are otherwise left to yourself. The location is great if you want to enjoy an evenng on the bacony viewing the old battleship accross the water or if you want to walk to a restaurant or bar which are all located just a few minutes walk from hotel. Easy access and parking - can only be recommended

“Hidden Gem”

This is the way to vacation! You can't beat the location. Riverview Suites is located on Water Street, directly across the river from the battleship. Great view right in the heart of the city. Check in at the Hilton was easy. They handed us parking passes and pointed us to the condos right across the street. The hotel room was clean and spacious. We held a small bridal party there. There was plenty of room for our guests. The kitchenette had all the necessary conviences and was great for warming up food. All in all, it was a great experience. I highly recommend staying here.

“BEST HOTEL”

me and my boyfriend went as a weekend get away....we LOVED it...the room was huge and loved the tvs in both rooms....the kitchen and living room were very nice....we felt at home...even though some people were a little rowdy, it didnt bother us at all :-).....i would recommend this hotel to any and everyone!!!

“Wonderful location downtown”

We went down for the weekend for a family reunion and didn't know what to expect but were thrilled with our room. Our 11 year old son loved being able to go out on the balcony and look directly at the stern of the USS Battleship and watch for boats traveling down the Cape Fear River. We were in walking distance of great restaurants and entertainment and enjoyed the Farmer Market that was right below our window. We were also pleased with being able to use the pool and other amenities at the Hilton and they provided wonderful customer service to us while we were there. We had some issues with the air conditioning while we were there but they sent someone over almost immediately when we called to come check it. We definitely got a deal for our money and most definitely will make reservations again next year!

“Suites are nice”

These one bedroom suites are a great alternative to the standard two double/queen bed rooms. One complaint is the device they give you for internet access. You plug it into an outlet and somehow creates a wireless internet service. This device performs poorly at best. I may have just had a bad one. I didn't really need the access and I would recommend testing it thoroughly if you need internet access.
