“Happily pleased”

Hotel and grounds were great . Small problem but staff handledit immediately. I was very satisfied wityh my stay and will use them again.

“Could be a lot better”

The basic hotel is nice but the room need a lot of TLC.

“Clean ,Tidy, good location”

The hotel was perfectly adequate for my stay, it is on one of the main roads in Wilmington and about 10mins drive from downtown, the owners were helpful but not so much the night staff, breakfast was basic but o.k for the first day. Bathroom was clean and beds comfortable, if in wilmington again i would stay there.

“Not horrible, but the room was moldy and musty smelling.”

I would say that you get what you pay for... However, I have stayed in much nicer motels, for less. Like I am right now. I travel a lot, and don't tend to get 'nice' places, because of the cost. However, you can really tell the difference when something is a good value, or, in this case, it was just cheap. I wouldn't stay there again, but I was only there one night.

“Infested with COCKROACHES!!!!!!!”

First room we were assigned had a welcoming committee of 3 dead roaches on the tile floor (obviously stepped on and not swept up!), a dead one floating in the toilet, and then a few live ones in the sink and bathtub to greet us. I don't even think so. We went to the front desk and got a new room. Checked that one? Nearly the same committee. We demanded an immediate refund and went to a real hotel instead. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

“NOT America's Best”

Linens were in awful condition, old, thin and blankets had holes. Shower had mold all over and had a constant drip. Air conditioner in room did not work well. My stay was the opposite of the motel name, NOT America's Best.
