"Very nice staff. Organic breakfast "

" I was really impressed with my room. Especially for the cost. Very spacious layout compared to a normal hotel room. I get that it may be a down time in terms of seasonal bookings for that area. However, it was a great place at a great value; even during a conference week (which is why I was there) at a resort right down the road. I would stay there again anytime."

"Berkshire valley inn is special for many reasons. They have reconfigured some of the classic hotel rooms into 3 or 4 bedroom suites with a kitchen. They have built a dog run on the hill behind the hotel. They serve delicious gluten free (!) muffins and frittata as well as gluten-full items. They have decorated in a cute and modern style that is unpretentious and comfortable. And the proprietor is lovely, she even called me when she found something we left behind. I hope to visit again in warmer weather when the pool is full and the sky is clear. It’s such a beautiful area. "

"I would highly recommend the Yankee. The front desk person was kind and welcoming. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I was pleased to see how clean and cozy it was. The breakfast room was well stocked, and the pool was being enjoyed by families with children. I would definitely stay again. The property is on a main road with easy access to shopping . The only downside was the noisy heater. But I was warm!! Many thanks to all who work diligently to keep the Yankee a pleasant place for travelers. "

"I arrived well after midnight, but called ahead and my room was waiting for me. The room was clean and it was in a safe area. Definitely worth the money!"
