“Reasonable”

The Holiday Inn (Williamsburg) is a fine place to stay. Nothing special, but fully acceptable. Our room was large and clean, and provided all the essentials. The hotel restaurant was good and the food was acceptable, although it was crowded at breakfast. Overall, the hotel gets a solid B ranking.

“Couple of Notes”

First, the noise outside the room was very loud. Not enough to wake us up, but everytime someone walked by...you knew it. Second, it would have been nice if the room would have had a bathroom fan. We had a suite...so our kids could sleep and we could stay up...the fan would have created some white noise to have in the room. Third, we came back one day and found our room door open. Nothing was taken, but it was obvious that the cleaning people had turned the deadbolt which prevented the door from closing.

“Decent Value”

The hotel was conveniently located near Historic Williamsburg and local restaurants. Hotel staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel pool was very small and seemed more of an afterthought than a useful addition to the other facilities provided. The in-house restaurant, was nicely decorated, but was frequently understaffed at peak meal times. The restaurant staff was friendly, but the food was generally of a poor quality and was overpriced for what you received in comparison to other nearby eating establishments.

“Close to everything!!”

The staff was very friendly. The suite we stayed in was comfortable. The Hotel is close to everything. Take a right out of the Hotel, down to Richmond Rd. hang another right, and you are on the road that leads to most of the restaurants. We most definately would stay their again.

“Great Hotel”

This hotel was what you'd expect for the cost. It was clean, appeared to be newly renovated, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me find good places to eat and gave me some ideas of what I could do for fun around the area. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers as it is clean and centrally located to W&M, Busch Gardens, and Colonial Williamsburg. Not walking distance though!

“Very good stay”

My husband and I were vacationing for a week. We thought the hotel was nice. No concierge or anything like that. We never ate in the restaurant only because it seemed that no one else did. It was driveable to all the sights around. The room was clean. It was always warm when we returned to our room but cooled down in just a few minutes. Evidently they have some kind of sensor that knows when you are not in the room. It was a nice room, no extras.

A pleasant hotel, very convenient to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors' Center, and quite reasonably priced in comparison to the other hotels in the area.

“it's okay, not bad”

The hotel was okay it has a pretty updated decor. the staff was very helpful too. I booked the room with breakfast, food was not bad at all. the only the only thing i didn't like is that the walls are thin, i can actually hear the people next room talking and they weren't really talking that loud. and also try to get a room away from the ice machine, it was kind of loud. overall it's not bad, i can stay there again.
