We read the reviews and didn’t hesitate to book a room. The lobby looked updated and nice. We were booked in a room on the second floor. We made our way to the elevators and once we got in them we began to doubt booking at this location. The elevators had an old smell to them and looked completely outdated. We walked to our room and once we walked in my heart sank. I immediately regretted booking here. My 7 year old even made a comment about how old the room looked. The carpet looked like it was from the 90s. The room was from the 90s. Paint was chipped all over, the furniture clearly belonged to the 90s and was also damaged (scratches, dented etc). The bathroom, omg, the bathroom! It reminded me of a motel. Although it appeared clean, the items such as the tissue box, the hair dryer bag etc had rust or stained. The outlets looked beaten up. The bathroom pretty much has never been updated. The floor tiles had cracks. We had a balcony and the balcony door did not lock. This was HUGE for us. We have two kids. Such a security issue. The balcony was filthy! The lighting was almost non existent. The room looked so dingy and dark. This was not what I pictured when I booked this place. In the pictures it looks nice, the rooms look nicely lit but not in person. There was an accent chair that started to look brown, it was blue. The room rates are pricey, plus they charge for parking and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but this is not a hotel. This is a motel.

The bathroom especially shower was not properly cleaned. I the front desk supervisor was the best part of the stay! She was a very pleasant individual and so nice.

The initial greeting by the staff was great. The front desk person was friendly and very helpful. The room is in need of revamping and repairs. Ceiling in the establishment has areas of pealing paint and water stains. Went to their restaurant/sports bar and food prep was on hold so we left the hotel for dinner at 8:30 as they were still on hold. The bed was comfortable. Granted, this is a busy area right next to Busch Gardens, but I guess I expected a little more from a Hilton property.

I was not happy with paying for parking at a hotel that was not in a city such as DC. The toilet ran all night long. When I took a shower the drain was clogged so my feet were grossly covered with bacteria. They had two water bottles in the room that clearly indicated you would be charged $2.50 if drank one. I paid $230 for one night and they offered nothing but a free cookie.
