Right in the Old Town entertainment district.

If you want night life this is the place. Be prepared to be treated like a drunk wandering in off the street though. I showed up on a Friday about 10pm. Greeted at the door by security asking for my card. I thought they were asking for a credit card and blew him off. The guy then got very assertive about registered guests only and tried to prevent me from approaching the desk. I immediately asked for a manager. The manager was not sympathetic to my concern and I was again lectured about security of the hotel above my expected level of hospitality. The place is very nice and priced right. Location could not be beat. Those things aside I was so upset by the treatment I left an hour later (without mentioning this again) and went to anothe hotel.

Good for business

Posted 19-Feb-2014
Pros: people - very helpful
Cons: no, keep this level
Location: not much, actually. But for business travelers - that's the best, not to be distracted
Was recommended to stay @ this hotel by a local University. The quality of care was better than my expectations.

Nice downtown location

Posted 2-Dec-2013
Pros: Its central location, ease of access, and reasonable rates for a downtown location like this. It has a very complete fitness center for a Courtyard.
Cons: I thought the breakfast was too expensive-you can get full-service restaurant breakfast less than a block away.
Location: Old Town has good bars, restaurants and theaters. The museum campus along the Arkansas River is about 10 min. away by car. Same with the WSU arena.
I spent four nights there over Thanksgiving, 2013. The hotel was virtually empty, but the staff was fully up and running every morning. The hotel is located right in the heart of Wichita's Old Town-my guess is that 30 to 40% of the best restaurants and bars in the city are located within a three block walking radius of the hotel. The hotel staff was terrific-the desk/night manager knew pretty much everything we needed to know about Wichita, the museums, things to see and do, and immediately local options for dining, shopping, etc. I'm guessing the hotel has gone through a recent upgrade-the rooms looked quite new, and the common areas are bright and well furnished.

Pros: The staff friendliness.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is right near Old Town. Within easy walking distance of great shopping, eating and bars.
The staff was super friendly. Friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room and the hotel are beautiful. Do not have a single complaint. Will definitely stay again. Thanks!

Huge Room! conveniently located

Posted 7-Oct-2013
Pros: Room Size and price
Cons: We did not get the sofa Bed like it said we would online
Location: Entrust Arena for concert
Spent a night here for a girl trip. The room was very large. We were supposed to have a sofa but did not. The staff was very friendly and brought us a roll away. Which was like a twin size bed. It worked out great. Plenty of room for 5 women to get ready and walk to Entrust Arena for a concert.

Very Clean and comfortable

Posted 29-Sep-2013
Cons: The price.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It was close to the downtown area so we could walk to a few places to have a drink. The only downside was the price, we got the room for $119.00 a night which was not bad it would have been even better if it was below $100.00.

IMPORTANT

Posted 23-Sep-2013
There is a bar next door that plays live music, outside until 1:45am. It is so loud that even with the windows closed, pillows on our heads, TV blaring, AC on and the white noise machine on full blast we could not hear anything but the music (which was good songs sang real bad)! This is a real problem if you enjoy sleeping on Friday and Saturday night. Saturday night the band did not play as loud and we could deal but Friday...up til 1:45! Staff is very nice and the location in Old Town is great. Very impressed with Kansas!
