Close to Old TownPosted 3-Jun-2014
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, excellent room value for the money.
Cons: The hotel parking is horrid. Outside, in an insecure lot for $8 a night. There is better parking within a block south or west.
Location: Old Town is a redeveloped industrial district full of great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, a Warren Theater, shopping and fun. It's a great weekend
We've stayed here a time or two and this was the best experience so far. The hotel is located on the north edge of Old Town, which means you park for the weekend and walk everywhere since there is so much so close.

Great Downtown LocationPosted 28-May-2014
Pros: Nice big rooms and very clean.
Cons: There was not a continental breakfast available and that would have been very nice.

Beautiful hotel, no parking!Posted 19-May-2014
The hotel was beautiful and we will definitely stay again. I was very pleased. The hotel did sell out of parking and we had to park three blocks away in a kinda shady parking garage and walk back.

Stuck in the basement!!!!Posted 29-Apr-2014
Cons: To improve the hotel stay, keep guests off the basement!!!
The hotel was very clean. I had a problem with being sent to the basement with no windows!!!! Our room was right next to housekeeping and the laundry room. When we arrived at 3 pm, there was a lot of banging of doors and very loud talking from the housekeeping staff. We were forced to wake up around 8 am due to the loud talking, opening and closing of doors and the darn washing machines!!!!! We were not happy.

Right in the Old Town entertainment district.Posted 21-Apr-2014
If you want night life this is the place. Be prepared to be treated like a drunk wandering in off the street though. I showed up on a Friday about 10pm. Greeted at the door by security asking for my card. I thought they were asking for a credit card and blew him off. The guy then got very assertive about registered guests only and tried to prevent me from approaching the desk. I immediately asked for a manager. The manager was not sympathetic to my concern and I was again lectured about security of the hotel above my expected level of hospitality. The place is very nice and priced right. Location could not be beat. Those things aside I was so upset by the treatment I left an hour later (without mentioning this again) and went to anothe hotel.

Good for businessPosted 19-Feb-2014
Pros: people - very helpful
Cons: no, keep this level
Location: not much, actually. But for business travelers - that's the best, not to be distracted
Was recommended to stay @ this hotel by a local University. The quality of care was better than my expectations.

Nice downtown locationPosted 2-Dec-2013
Pros: Its central location, ease of access, and reasonable rates for a downtown location like this. It has a very complete fitness center for a Courtyard.
Cons: I thought the breakfast was too expensive-you can get full-service restaurant breakfast less than a block away.
Location: Old Town has good bars, restaurants and theaters. The museum campus along the Arkansas River is about 10 min. away by car. Same with the WSU arena.
I spent four nights there over Thanksgiving, 2013. The hotel was virtually empty, but the staff was fully up and running every morning. The hotel is located right in the heart of Wichita's Old Town-my guess is that 30 to 40% of the best restaurants and bars in the city are located within a three block walking radius of the hotel. The hotel staff was terrific-the desk/night manager knew pretty much everything we needed to know about Wichita, the museums, things to see and do, and immediately local options for dining, shopping, etc. I'm guessing the hotel has gone through a recent upgrade-the rooms looked quite new, and the common areas are bright and well furnished.
