“Lodge at Whitefish great vacation choice”
The Lodge at Whitefish was fabulous! Very scenic, on the lake. Hotel offers spa, pool, beach, great dining. Very close to town and area attractions. Hugh bathroom with both shower and large bath. Kitchen area had microwave and fridge but disapointed there were no dishes or stove to use. Fireplace was nice. Balcony with table and chairs was also nice.
“Best Choice in Whitefish”
This lodge is lovely. It maintains a rustic charm true to the area while still providing all the luxuries I expect in a great vacation. I stayed in the viking lodge which is connected to the main lodge by a covered bridge. The room is spacious with a very updated/modern bathroom- soaking tub and slate stone shower. There are sliding shutters above the tub that connect the bedroom to the bathroom. They leave a super soft teddy bear on your bed to sleep with and he proved to be a very good cuddler :) The viking area is quaint. There is a separate sitting/living area for guests in this part of the lodge and a great outdoor area overlooking the wilderness complete with a jacuzzi and a firepit with seating. Maintenance requests were very prompt- I had two (a lightbulb out and a request for the firepit to be lit). The boat club is the restaurant and is in the main lodge area. The food is delicious- I am a vegetarian and loved the curry for dinner. Lunch meals were also outstanding, however we didn't eat breakfast here. The restaurant has a stunning view of large windows looking out to the marina and lake. There is tons of seating outside her to enjoy a drink or a meal. The hotel is a mile from Whitefish, which is an adorable little town. We loved our stay and would both recommend and stay here again.
“Perfect Weekend Getaway”
Beautiful hotel with great rooms. Rooms are huge and well appointed. Balcony is the length of the room and has table and chairs. Only disappointment was the up keep of the lake swimming area- you sank up to your knees in mud 2 feet out and it was full of weeds. It should be dredged. Having said that, the outdoor pool is fantastic with large lounge chair and a poolside bar. There is an extra charge for a lake view room. Our room didn't have a view, but it wasn't a big issue as we spent the whole day outside anyways.
“Wonderful Lodge in perfect location, hope to return one day”
This is a fantastic lodge on the outskirts of Whitefish with terrific facilites onsite & very thougthful/attentive staff. We chose the hotel to enable us to explore Glacier National Park, althought the weather wasn't so kind to us the hotel was perfect in every way. We stayed in a room with a partial view & it was just lovely, spacious with a really comfy bed. The valet & concierge couldn't have been more helpful, they ran a shuttle downtown from early evening until 10pm & you just had to call from downtown for them to comeback & collect you. We had a wonderful stay and my only regret is time ran out on us...
“Absolutely wonderful !”
WOW, what a great 4 day breakaway: views, luxury, dining, comfort, room space, modern, big bathrooms, so much to see and do ! And oh, the people and staff were just great ! Our best fall break ever, and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay !
“Three Cheers for a fabulous place to stay”
This place is fantastic!!! If anyone is ever near this location, you must stay there!!! Just loved everything about it!!! I hope I can go back sometime in the future.
“Wilderness getaway... Loved it!”
beautiful vistas, views, gorgeous rooms! Good service, fine amenities with one of the finest rooms I have ever stayed in. we will go back again very soon! Highly recommended!!
“Beautiful Lodge”
We enjoyed both the Viking lodge room and the lakeside studio. They are large, well appointed and very comfortalbe. Service is top notch and very friendly. Free valet parking and free Wi-fi are great examples of their offering you the best service. What a wonderful lodge this is!!
“Awesome hotel”
Great hotel and property. Nice staff and large rooms. Our room had a microwave and frig. The lake was beautiful, staff friendly. I wish we had planned to stay longer it was the nicest hotel on our trip can't wait to go back.
“Nice Hotel”
We had a good stay (only able to book for two days). The restaurant was good but pretty crowded. The room was across the street from the main building but there was a bridge connecting the buildings. Being right next to Whitefish Lake was nice. Other hotels in town are too close to the railroad or too high up Big Mountain.
