“Over rated,would not go back”

Very old farm house that needs some work.We were in room 19 next to the dinning room,room was not very clean,very old t.v. remote did'nt work.on the second day towels were pick-up bur not replaced.go on at 8.00 pm had no problem,but if arrive after 10pm,the keys are on the desk and you are on your own.Ther is no permanent inn keeper,you have to call them.One goog thing is the breafast that is good and well served.For the same price check the Golden Gables that is very nice with fridge,microwave and pool.

“Overrated”

My friend and I booked this b&b because of the high ratings it had received from previous travellers. It proved to be a disappointment. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and the pillows were like rocks. In addition, the owner misdirected me when I asked for directions to some covered bridges nearby. The place has some charm, but a good night's sleep is more important.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!”

The owner is doing his best to keep it quaint and welcoming. Unfortunately, the overall quality is far below the advertised rating. This is not a three star accommodation. Perhaps if the owner completely renovates the building, leveled the sinking foundation (which causes every floor to sink 6 inches into the northeast corner), hired a staff member to clean the rooms in advance and to perhaps even update the interior decoration (pealing wallpaper, loose faucets, crumbling tile work and rusting bath fixtures)... This place does have potential. I wish them luck in their improvements as they seem like nice people. I would avoid staying there again.
