“Tiny Room”
The rooms were small and the murphy bed folds right out into the middle of the living room, with the kitchen right beside it. Their parking lot was full so we had to park at a different hotel, but they reimbursed us for the cost.
“Loft hotel in Whistler”
Pro : Kitchen if you need it, small living area with a wood burning fireplace (logs for sale at front desk). The couch folds out into 2 separate beds. Upstairs there is a nice bed, tv and chair. (Can be noisy if both TV's are on.) Nice location near the end of the village, hot tub and sauna is nice. Con: Very noisy when people are in hallway or closing doors. Also you can hear people outside. Towels not really kept up enough in the hot tub area.
“Lovely big room.”
Nice comfortably sized room for a family of 4.
“Nothing Special”
Everything was pretty much average ... stuff lacking any enthusiasm just doing the minimum. Balcony was locked due to maintenance.
“Whistler Central”
NICe hotel in the middle of the Whistler action. Friendly staff and convenient to everything.
“Great location for the price”
I knew I wasn't getting the top hotel in Whistler with the low price. The pluses - it was centrally located, we parked our car and didn't have to use again until we left. We could walk everywhere. It was quiet. The negatives - staff were not welcoming. Not once did a front desk staff look up when I was passing by. The room was very outdated, small, and cramped. The murphy bed, a dated concept but unique, was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and did not face the TV. Overall, for the price, it was OK. I would recommend spending a bit more and enjoying Whistler in style at another hotel ... Whistler is a place that's worth it.
“Good value for money”
Stayed many times. Good clean rooms, nothing fancy, but then for the price it's what you'd expect.
“Amazing Value and lots of extras”
We really enjoyed the location and the front staff was very nice. We stayed Dec 19- Dec 23 with a toddler in a one bedroom suite. Bottom Line: It is extremely well value, the best in Whistler in my opinion. The location is great. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are clean, there is alot of space, and the kitchen is a nice bonus. Plus, who doesnt appreciate a nice wood fireplace and a great balcony. The shampoo smells good also but the sinks in the bathroom was very short. The murphy bed was nice because it folded up and made the room VERY roomy so our child could run around, play, set up puzzles, i mean there was ALOT of space. I am used to the more closed-in feel like the Listel, Hilton, Fairmont but this felt alot more open and it was suprisingly VERY nice. HOWEVER, it was not as comfortable as those 3 hotels beds. I think it wasnt the bed but rather the bedding, i missed the down comforters, down pillows, and feather mattress toppers that i am used too. Next time i will bring my own blanket and pillow. Also, it was nice that the ski storage was actually on the way to the slopes unlike other hotels were its often in an odd location. Plus its just an open locker garage area next to the lobby. Again open, you dont have to wieve around people. Actually, out of Fairmont, Hilton, Listel, the ski area was the best for our needs. In and out in 30 seconds flat :)
“would go back, it was a good deal on hotel not too expensive”
Overall the hotel was nice, the other thing is that the bed was a pull out so it wasn't a seperate room from the kitchen and the living room area. The hotel was very cold but they had a portable heater.
“Not impressed.”
When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our reservation until I showed them the confirmation. She then went on line and found us. Luckily, they found us a room but, unluckily, the toilet did not work and had an extreme overflow in bathroom. The hotel was prompt in taking care the problem but was indifferent about both situations. They said there was room for four but very uncomfortable if more than two stayed. Only sleeping area was a loft with two beds squeezed in a too small of a space. So close you could hardly get around them. Would have loved to look out the window into the village, however, our view was blocked by over grown trees in front of the window. The chairs in the living room were the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in.
