“Relax, Relax, Relax”
My family went to Summit Lodge to get away after a death in the family. The hotel was gorgeous. It was the perfect setting to just get away to relax and reflect. The rooms were even prettier than the pictures. I will definately be back!!!
“Nice Place!”
Quiet hotel yet close to amenities. This is no 5 star, however, it is clean and in good condition. I would stay there again.
“Second time there. I will stay there again”
I really like this hotel. nice part of the village. Can walk anywhere from there. To ski they have their own shuttle that takes you to and from the lifts which makes things really easy. Rooms very nice. Facilities very nice. Great value.
“Nice Hotel”
The Summit Lodge is a nice hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are very clean. Starbucks, 7Eleven, IGA Market, KFC, Rogers Video.... are all steps from the lodge. Staff were rude and not friendly at all. Parking at the hotel cost $20 per day, we parked our car at the free parking lot, about 2 blocks from the lodge. (I figured that's why the staff was not friendly, they tryed to talk us out of parking our car in the free parking lot but we did it anyways and saved a bunch.)
“Whistler Gem”
Hotel was in whistler village towards the market place. It is convinient access to the slopes, bars, grocery store, liquor store etc.. the tapas restaurant "elements" is very nice and cozy. room was clean and shuttle service for ski/snowboarding drops you off across the street from blackcomb gondola. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Close to everything.”
The Hotel for us was perfect. Although parking your car in the Hotel parking is 19.00 per day we never moved our car for 3 days. We didn't have to worry about it getting broken into which is one less thing to worry about when traveling. Another reviewer complained about the price of parking but they obviously didn't read the Hotel Details section on Expedia when planning their trip. The Hotel was very quiet backing onto a green belt with a nice little trail to explore. We could easily walk to the many trails and shops in Whistler Villiage including the Blackcomb Mountain Chairlift and the Whistler Mountain Gondola. My wife had a massage/body scrub at the Hotel and said it was the best massage she ever had. The pool area was nice and quiet with Sun exposure from around 11am to 6pm with shady spots to retreat to if needed. Can't wait to go back!
“great hotel”
Very nice and clean, very satisfied.
“Great stay”
Good value, very close to the main drag. Also across the street from the main grocery store, and having a hotplate, microwave, pots, pans and utensils was very nice. The lifts are within about 15 minutes walking distance, but there was an on-demand shuttle that was very quick. Would definitely return.
“Relaxation!”
This was my first trip to Whistler, and I can't wait to get back. Being a new snowboarder and after being on the slopes for hours at a time we spent a fair amount of time in our room. The digital cable made TV and movie watching wonderful. The kitchenette was just perfect to make our little meals and snacks. The room service was very reasonabley priced & delicious. The hotel location was marvelous - the IGA grocery was just a short walk away as were several cute shops and restaraunts. The shuttle to & from the mountains was quick, and a 15 min walk thru town if you want to walk
“They love dogs as much as me!”
Aside from being a great hotel in general (at a reasonable price too), they really take care of their guests with dogs. The infamous question comes to mind of "will you stay here again" or "would you recommend this to a friend?" Both are yes! I couldn't imagine staying at another place.
