The property is in a good location, however we were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The TV remote was missing a battery and it's plastic backing, which the staff would have noticed if they cleaned it. The dryer still had clothing in it from the previous guests. There was a pair of socks under the bed. There were hairs in the bathtub. Unfortunately all of these things left us feeling a bit uneasy given COVID-19. It seems to suggest they cleaned the room very quickly, despite their pledge to customers that they have introduced new cleaning procedures. It kind of spoiled the experience for us.

Lowest quality stay in Whistler
This rental was by far the lowest quality stay iPad in Whistler in 20 years. I think it’s absolutely disgusting that they charged 155 Canadian a night for an absolute horrible bed, that was super super super uncomfortable. The fridge was old and made noise all day and all night long, startling my baby. The walls are so thin, you can hear the neighbours above you and beside you, we could hear our neighbours TV till midnight. I will never ever stay with glaciers reach ever again and I suggest you never do!! The only good thing about this rental was the location nothing more. If you don’t have a vehicle, Be prepared to have to walk and get to another hotel resort to do your check in and check out. We found this quite difficult with a young two-month-old baby. If they’re going to charge you $155 a night, you should be sleeping on a very comfortable relaxing bed not one worse than what you have at home.

Don’t waste your money...
Room had empty chocolate bar wrappers behind furniture/ carpet soiled and not clean / bathroom had marks and very dated. Unhappy with noise / first night called front desk due to heavy foot steps and pet on above floor. Baby next door to our room and a carpenter working on the above deck Sunday morning at 830am. Totally unacceptable!!!

Did the trick on short notice and for a decent, relative price. Good location close to the end of the Whistler retail strip. Close to the bus stop and a reasonable walk to the lifts. Clean enough and easy keypad entry. Reasonably priced onsite parking. However, the unit was small, dark and dated with walls thin enough that you could hear your neighbor's thoughts. You could hear next door easier than hearing someone speak to you from the bathroom. Only three thin pillows and a comforter without a duvet cover.

Hard to get to and find
You need to be aware of three things: 1) the check-in desk is not anywhere near the unit. You'll need to drive about 2km up a big hill to get your keys...and then again to check-out. 2) the condos are laid out in a confusing way and none of the addresses are lit. So finding the unit in the dark was like a treasure hunt. 3) "King Bed" is two singles pushed together.

Very inconvenient having to go so far from the village to check in and then walk another half hour to the place that you're staying. Photo of bed showed as a double but was actually two singles pushed together with two separate blankets. Pillows were extremely soft. Neighbous were loud. Dirt on bedsheet.

This is NOT a hotel ! just a guest room !
Deeply disappointed ! We are frequent to Whistler village but never had a room without kitchen facilities as this one is. Kitchens are highly customary and an industry standard in this ski resort helping you with the food bill by eating in. Having a bar fridge only is just keeps your water cold. This room is extremely small with just bear minimum and actually serves and is a GUEST ROOM to the adjacent condominium called the "lock off" with a locking door separation from that units laundry room. We could hear the dryer. I do not recommend nor will rent again from Resort Quest Whistler.

Tiny room, not as advertised
Firstly we had to go to a different hotel to check in which I didn't mind to much but then we had to find are own way to our room which was in a really confusing complex. We then got to the room and it was just a bedroom and bathroom absolutely tiny when what was advertised was a kitchen and hot tub. It also said there was a pool but didn't state it was an outdoor pool that would be closed through winter. The bed was just two single beds pushed together with two single duvets on and it was very uncomfortable. The room was noisy and one of the nights we were kept awake as the people above us hot tub, which happened to be right over our "hotel room", was broken and making an awful noise which no one came and fixed.

Nothing about it online is true
The check in desk is in a seperate hotel. There is no free parking or hot tubs on the patio like the website said. Hard to find the right parkade and then dragging your luggage up the stairs that smell like urine to come across a shady dude rummaging thru the dumpster with a flash light outside our suite. Had to wonder around the hotel/apartment complex to find the unit. Loud and noisy at the pool located in the middle. Def not for families. Party central. So gladI didn't come on my own, that my husband came because it was so confusing on where to check in, park and find the unit. Never again will I stay here or recommend it to anyone. Please save your money.

Not the best for money!
I expected a lot more for the price. Did not expect an exhorbitant parking fee per day of stay. Room service is once every week, and I would expect they should stock the room with enough supplies to last. Since these are privately owned condos or rooms, there is no guarantee of anything. At least our room was not smelly, but was terribly tiny for a family. Exterior had litter and not worth risking bare feet walking

Good value for 2
Great location - just across the street from the town walking path. Underground parking is nice, spots are small but good access to rooms. Rooms are small but perfect for 2. A bit noisy - can hear people walking along paths outside the room and in neighboring rooms. Bed was ok - 2 twins put together to make a king. Room was reasonably clean as far as the important stuff goes, but there was a fair amount of dust behind furniture. (I know because I dropped something behind the nightstand) Overall a good value and walking distance to everything in town. Checkin is about 1/3 mile away - no problem if you have a car. Would be a pain if you didn't.

Cheapest Option in Whistler
I would describe the room we got at Glaciers reach as a Fiesta Inn room in a small town in Texas. So, not big, old furniture, reasonably clean, and cheap. There's a loud AC unit on the window and everything. Cheap is only relative to other Whistler options, of course. The downside vs. a motel is that there is no cleaning service for short stays. I'm happy with my stay, this is what I expected.

At least it's not too far into the village
To check in you have to drive to Blackcomb. To figure that out you have to remember the mention of the address in some random email that is not on your reservation or google it. If you try calling after 4 you are SOL. Staff at check in, which is at a different property don't really know anything about Glacier Reach. Basically hand you a map and wish you luck. Another fun puzzle to figure out how to get into the parking area. Although the description on expedia, Trip Advisor etc. make it appear that every unit comes with a hot tub this is not the case. No way of telling that from description. So you are stuck with the dinky communal one. Rooms are dated. Fireplace sounded like a plane taking off, bathroom is cramped, and our hide-a bed sagged to the floor almost. Just not a great place all around, but hey, at least it's not too far to the village, but hella far to hike if you plan to actually ski.

Whistler ski trip
We stayed here for three days in December 2013. As other reviewers have suggested, it took a while for us to find their rental office, which is not far from Glacier Reach. We had a one bedroom apartment. The room is spacious and clean, well equipped. Also room service is only provided for staying four nights or more, we did not feel it was needed. We had open Wifi in the room and we also got onto a couple other open ones from the neighbor. The lodge is conveniently located across the street from the marketplace, where you can take Bus no. 4 to Whistler Village (The bus runs every 10 minutes). Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Glacial Ridge and would come back again my future.

It was a great location. Close to all amenities and shuttle route to go snowboarding. My only issue was that you had to turn sideways to walk between the bed and the tv stand they were so close. They should mount the tv on the wall and get rid of the stand because the room is very small and this would free up some walking space.

Well located, but checkin inconvenient, small room
This accommodation is in a good location immediately across from the Marketplace in Whistler Village, but you have to check in (and return your key at the end of your stay) across town in the Upper Village, which is two bus rides (albeit free ones) away if you don't have a car. The room itself (if you get "hotel room" size) is very small, especially for Whistler, but even for a regular room. There's barely room for one person to navigate around the bed to the washroom and getting things in and out are awkward. Overall it's a good location and usually reasonably priced but a bit of a hassle if you don't bring a car.

The webpage showed pictures of a kitchen and livingroom, in addition to sleeping accommodation. We brought food with us on our trip, and planned to enjoy eating at home. When we arrived it became clear we were just getting a room; no kitchen, no sitting area. When we raised this with the check-in staff their stupid suggestion was to ask our neighbours if we could cook food in their kitchen. No doubt the neighbours would have done our dishes for us.

VERY Small Shabby Room with DIRTY Bedding
This is not a 3-star hotel. Housekeeping in not included with the room. Parking is not included in the room rate - $15 dollars more a day. The room was SO small that the king bed barely fit. The furniture was old, the lamps were cheap and very old, and the bedding, DISGUSTING. You would never sleep on anything this shabby in your own home. Inside the comforter was a dried substance that looked to be ketchup; let’s hope that’s all it was, because it took 3 phone calls and more than 18 hours before Erin, the manager, could manage to get housekeeping to change the bedding. We had immediately asked for a new room, but Erin informed us there was nothing else and did NOTHING to rectify the problem. She just asked if it was truly a dried substance or just a stain. Now you know where their standards are. We are very disappointed with whom we purchased the accommodations, for advertising this room as a 3-star and even more disappointed with the property managers, whom we have booked with several times in Colorado. They have both lowered their standards. The one positive point with the lodging is that the shuttle station is directly across the street.

Not Satisfied with our experience.
My friend and I showed up at the address provided from hotels.com and spent about 20 minutes looking for the place to check in. We ended up driving around for 10 more minutes and had to make a call from a random hotel to figure out where to check in. We were never given the information that we needed to check in at a different location from where we were staying. After that fiasco, we finally get into the garage and park. We spend some time figuring out where our room was, not easy to find. Then we get to our room and the code we were give to the room did not work. So, we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk to get them to give us a new code. This phone call probably cost us about $10 or more. We took great care of the room that we stayed in and clean up after ourselves. Yesterday, I discovered a random charge for $40.62 on my credit card for the condo we stayed in. I have no idea what it was for or and I am unable to call to follow up on this issue. I do not plan to ever stay at this place again or recommend it to others.
