“Nice weekend in whistler”
Conveniently located for our purpose( we were up there for a race),we were very pleased with the accommodation. Perfect for a couple! It was nice to have the kitchen facilities as well. Everything in the village was within an easy walk from our hotel. The overnight parking charge was high, but the room costs were reasonable, so overall it was not overly expensive.
“Nice Hotel”
This was a nice hotel very helpful front desk staff clean rooms! Only complaints were housekeeper came before check out time, and threw our stuff out that was left in the fridge, that we were going back for when we told her we were coming back to pick up more stuff. Also outdated pop in pop machine!
“Whistler Retreat”
The hotel was lovely - cozy and warm. Our room was comfortable and provided a great view of the mountains. The fireplace was lovely and it was great to have a kitchenette. The murphy queen bed was surprisingly comfortable. The hotel staff were very accomodating. The parking was $28.00 which we found outrageous. It is very difficult to get to Whistler without a car and the parking should be included.
“Whistler mountian bike trip”
I had an amazing time in this hotel. My buddies stayed at some beater across the street (sorry, but it was) The Pan Pacific was new and the staff was great. Room service from the pub was just ok. Fries were cold but it was late...My view was insane...Stay here, it's well worth it.
“We Love Whistler 's Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel.”
We love Whistler 's Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel. Our most recent trip was the second stay at this fabulus hotel. Clean rooms, nicely appointed, little kitchenettes so you can prepare a few meals. Everything....Just great. We'll be back next year!
“Was worried about noise at first”
It cannot be emphasized enough how 'in the middle of everything' this hotel is. I didn't quite realize that when I booked my stay and was anxious about noise when we checked in. That turned out to be groundless, and we really enjoyed our stay (and our sleep) here. We never heard our neighbors and the outside noise wasn't bad. The staff was exceedingly competent and hospitable. The room was spotless, the kitchen was open, efficient and had everything I needed, and it's steps away from anything. At the end of a long day - it felt great to soak in the deep tub and curl up in front of the fireplace in the robes provided. There was planty of hot water at all times and the water pressure was excellent. The linens were good quality, there were plenty of pillows, and there's also space in the closet to store skis in the winter. I love to cook and always look for a hotel with a kitchen. This one was one of the nicer ones I've used. The appliances were newer, the counters and floor were granite and the fridge was larger than dorm-sized. The layout was efficient and open, and I found it very useable. Everything was nice, classic and tasteful. There's a nice little grocery and a liquor store very close by. There's a much larger supermarket near the main entrance to the Village from Hwy 99. The local salmon really should not be missed!
“Great location!!”
TV placement is terrible. Can't lay in bed and watch TV, but other than that it was great!!
“will consider this place if we go back”
Might stay at the other Pan Pacific farther from the bar that stays up until after two in the morning noise was fine during the week but Friday night was loud LOVED the location Loved the pool area Loved the Views
“Great Staff”
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We didn't want to leave. All the staff were so helpful answering our many questions. We needed to do laundry during our stay and the hotel has washers and dryers for guests. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. I loved having the gas fireplace on in the mornings and enjoying my coffee. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
“Out the back door to the top of the world”
The back of the hotel is literally steps away from the Whistler Mountain chair lifts. What a view from the Peak2Peak gondola to the hotel and Village below! We felt like we were on top of the world!
