In the middle of renos. Extremely disappointed!Posted 23-Jul-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The rooms! They are small, outdated and in serious need of some TLC
After staying in a number of smaller, less expensive hotels, we decided to treat ourselves and stay right in Whistler. The Delta is right in the heart of the village and their properties have a great reputation so we thought we'd try it. I can't tell you how disappointing it was. The room we were given was old and outdated, not to mention the size of a large walk-in closet. There were black scuffs on the walls, a patched ceiling where there was obviously water damage, and an older fridge that had seen better days. This was the most expensive hotel we'd stayed in, and it was the smallest and most outdated room by far. The Super 8 we had stayed in earlier in the week had nicer rooms. I rarely, if ever, write these kinds of reviews, but my girlfriend and I felt compelled to tell others so they don't make the same mistake. I realize they are in renovations, but to charge $175 a night for the older ones is truly a ripoff. Their are FAR better places to stay in Whistler. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed in the Delta and will not be back.

Great hotel in the villagePosted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Loved the location and the modern comfortable room
Location: The hotel is in the village and on the doorstep to hiking, biking, shopping and an excellent variety of restaurants.
The King suite had just undergone an nice reno but there were a few little things like the bathroom door sticking that didn't match up o the quality of the room, Very comfortable space that is well equipped and would be perfect for a longer stay. The hotel is close (5 minutes) to $10/ 24hrs public pay parking at the convention center. We highly recommend this because the hotel charges for $30.00 per night. We wiIl definitely stay there again.

Room was very smallPosted 20-Jul-2014
Room was very small, I hate to get nickel and dimed for parking etc. The room appliances were very old and not very modern.

Central location in the village.Posted 8-Jul-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The elevator
Location: Its a walk to all shops and restaurants and to the great walking paths around whistler village, the markets and gondolas.
Delta is centrally located within the village so there is easy walking access to all of whistler village. The room we had was a one bedroom and well designed having the kitchen and washer dryer was very convenient. The cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating. The spa was very hot but this may have been the transition from winter to summer temperature. The worst thing was the elevator as it kept breaking down, three times when we were there for 24 hours at a time.
