Room with a view.

Posted 21-Sep-2014
This hotel provided excellent accommodations and service. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which would be perfect for those who. Want or need to or spare own meals. The hotel is in centre of village near all shops including drug store and fabulous market and, a good selection of restaurants and bars.

What great place!

Posted 18-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and made is feel welcome,
Location: There are 3 or 4 restaurants in the immediate locale - as well as a pub right next door.
The entire experience was seamless. We arrived at the hotel & were immediately greeted by a valet who took our car keys & our luggage and escorted us to the front desk.Within minutes of our check in they brought the luggage to the suite. The rooms looked newly furnished and were spotless,WiFi connected easily and both rooms had nice easy to use TV's. Almost a homey feeling - not the usual cold feeling you find in many hotels.

Great accommodation in Whistler

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything. First contact staff very welcoming and informative. Staff always greeting guests with a big smile and a"good morning" etc.
Cons: Parking fees are $30 per night - a little less fees would be welcome.
Location: Situated at northern end of Village - close to Olympic Rings. Large IGA supermarket nearby - more reasonable prices than supermarket in Village.
Three wonderful days in Whistler. Had booked a one bedroom Deluxe Suite - offered upgrade to a newly renovated Suite for an extra $20 per night. Suite very much worth the extra money. Have stayed here 3 years ago and new floor plan optimizes space. Our suite had a large corner balcony overlooking pool area - private and quiet.

Excellent hotel staff!

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Great staff and wonderful amenities.
Cons: The rooms are newly renovated, so not much was left in need of improvement!
Our stay at the Delta was fabulous. The newly renovated rooms were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was welcoming and very helpful! Alexander at reception was wonderful and helped us find places to eat or things to do in the area that were fun and fit our budget. Thank you!

Great place for a holiday

Very comfy beds, had a couple of late nights and no one complained. Only negative is no smoking in patio and if you closed patio door while you where outside it would lock

Terrible Room in the Second tower. Room 2302

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: It was in a good location.
Cons: Cleaner, updated rooms. Better service. Privacy curtains. House keepers not slamming doors all morning.
This room was not renovated, and felt 'old' and sort of smelled of it. It was super small, lacked privacy as there was not another curtain other than the black out blinds. It faced the front of the hotel where there was lots of traffic coming in and out of the hotel at all hours. You can hear all the talking and drunk people coming in at all hours. Worst of all, the housekeepers supply room was at the end of the hall here, and there would slamming of doors at least 30 times an hour in the morning. This is no exaggeration. When I told the receptionist at check out, she said I was the first person to ever complain about this. Housekeeping took forever to come around to clean our room. When we did return to our room in the evening, we were only provided with one bath towel. It took 3 phone calls, and 30 minutes later for them to bring us up an extra towel. I would not recommend this place to anyone. However, the rooms in the other tower were newly renovated and very comfortable as we had friends who had a room in that tower. So be warned....noisy, old, small rooms, bad service, no privacy, and no compensations were given at check out when the complaints were made.

We are sorry to read that you had an upsetting experience while in Whistler. We are due to have the remainder of our hotel completely by winter 2014 and are very excited for this process to be nearing completion. We will be sure follow up with our team regarding the communication issues and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. Hopefully we can see you again in the future and have the opportunity to welcome you back.

Great access to village

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Fun and complete. The family enjoyed the pool and big room. Nice hotel and people working for the Delta as well as guests staying there. We would stay there again and again for the right price and availability. We like the easy access to the village and library
