Awesome location and quietPosted 13-Apr-2014
Awesome price point. Perfect location only about 7 minute walk to the gondola. They had a shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon which worked perfectly. The staff were outstanding. Our room was a suite which was perfect with our 12 year old daughter. It was very nice to have breakfast in our room in the morning and in the evening if we choose to. Underground parking. Grocery stores within 5 minutes. Lots of shopping. Different classes of restaurants everywhere to choose from. I would definitely stay again.

Great location with excellent servicePosted 7-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, Service, pet friendly
Cons: Rooms are a bit small, but no big deal. Not there much.
Location: Lots of food, walking, paths, etc. Location is ideal.
We had a great stay with our 2 little dogs. The service in the hotel is exceptional Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to stay a bit longer as the fridge and microwave + dishes come in handy for breakfast or making a TO GO lunch or snack. They also have a great service to have someone walk your dogs if needed. What a treat and it was last minute planning for me. I really appreciated the staff and their knowledge of the Village.

Clean, Spacious, Fantastic ServicePosted 1-Apr-2014
Cons: Would have liked help with our ski gear/bags up to the room when we arrived.
Loved our stay here. We brought our dog along, and our four year old. Luckily the suites are quite spacious and the staff is fantastic with pets and kids! Loved having the Washer Dryer in our unit which was a godsend after a day of wet slushy skiing. The hotel shuttle is handy as well, dropping us off so we could get our lift passes and ski right from the village. The rooms are super clean, the housekeeping is impeccable. We always stay at the Fairmont but would come back to the Delta in a heartbeat as the kitchenette and washer dryer are so so handy.

Friendly Staff but just about OK hotelPosted 31-Mar-2014
Pros: The staff make this hotel. Really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking rates and room updates; getting rather dated (clean though)
Location: It's Whistler; go skiing
We stayed for a long weekend with a one bedroom (room) in building 2. We've stayed in quite a few Whistler hotels and the Delta Suites are ok but nothing more. As with all things some good points and bad points + Positive Friendly staff Shuttle driver was informative and friendly; an asset. Shuttle to lifts and back; made wife and kids happy Good location for Whistler bars, restaurants and shops Hot tub and pool wasn't too busy Our room was nice and quiet from outside noise (3rd floor) - Note -ve on Aircon noise Skis are stored in the Summit shop in the Delta. This works well. - Negative $30 to park a night (plus tax) is a complete gouge Rooms are looking tired and dated. I think a lot of hotels in Whistler must have got a big discount on anything beige in the 80's! (Note: There are signs up suggesting some refurb may be planned; no idea if that's going to apply to all rooms) Aircon in room is fairly noisy (but at least it has it I guess) Sauna and one outside hot-tub wasn't working. I get it that this happens So I'd say the Delta is just about OK, If you can get a great deal then I'd stay again; but factor in the $30/night (+tax) for parking into the price
Thank you for your recent stay with us at the Delta Whistler Village Suites. I wanted to confirm that Delta Whistler Village Suites is completing all of our guest rooms in 2014. We are proud to be introducing the Delta ModeRoom™. In designing these rooms, our approach was simple. Make it functional. Make it versatile. Make it comfortable. Make it beautiful. I hope we have the chance to welcome you back soon!

Our room was right over a bar!Posted 12-Mar-2014
Our room was right over a bar! We might as well have been sitting in the middle of the bar for how loud it was. I am certain they have had complaints about this room before. They did not seem surprised. If you choose to stay there make sure you ask about this!

Good base for whistler adventures.Posted 12-Mar-2014
Pros: Location and staff attitude. Good health club spa and pools.
Cons: Terrible wifi on the second floor. We spent the first two nights on the 4th floor and it was ok. But remaining three were frustrating.
Location: Very good location and everything is only a short walk away.
Hotel has great additional services with ski rental shop in the lobby area and a great shuttle to the bas of the village. Driver gave a snow report every morning. All staff very friendly. A good experience.

In the heart of the lower village!Posted 27-Feb-2014
Pros: In the heart of Whistler Village. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our King Suite bedroom was separate from the living area and very quiet.
Cons: To bad there was no restaurant in the hotel. A breakfast area would have been nice even if we paid a separate price.
Location: Right in the heart of the village!
Great access to restaurants, shops and ski lifts. Rooms were nice with separate kitchen and bedroom. Make sure you book a King Suite.
