We had high expectations. The first room smelled damp and construction equipment was parked outside the window. They moved us and the second room was much better. Although it didn't seem like much effort went into housekeeping the bathroom floor was pretty gross and my wife had to clean it.
Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was lacking in options. Vending machine didn't work. Female clerk on Sunday morning, July 12, 2015 had her music blaring, it was distracting and made it hard to communicate with her.
It was a very nice hotel but it had a very unfortunate location. The landfill was right across the road, so the outdoor smells weren't always pleasant. But we were on vacation, and we didn't spend much time there other than to sleep, so it really wasn't a problem. Everything was clean, breakfast was good, and the kids enjoyed the pool.
This hotel stands out in all the right ways. Our room had two bed rooms, two baths, a full kitchen and living area, along with it's own entrance. For a family it was great to have so much space to spread out. The staff helped me with all my questions about the metro system. When I spoke with him about an issue with the pull out couch the repairman was to our room before us, that is incredible service. I have already recommended this hotel to two families.
