The staff was great and I wanted to pack up the Heavenly Bed and take it home with me! Best sleep I have had in years!! Plus the hotel was peaceful and quiet. Sunset over the mountains from my windo was perfect as well. Room service food was very good!
"Good location just off route 36 and Sheridan Road."
Overall, I really liked this hotel. There is no restaurant on site, but there are plenty of places to eat along Sheridan Road. The room came with a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave, as well as a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. The air conditioner was powerful and cooled the room quickly. Maid service was thorough each and every day. The hotel also offers a washer and dryer for guest use, as well as a workout facility. I made sure to take advantage of the pool and hot tub, which were both set at the PERFECT temperature. The majority of the front desk staff were very, very nice. My king size bed was very comfortable. The only drawbacks were that the vending machines were all out of bottled water, the rooms facing route 36 had the constant hum of traffic unless windows were closed (these were very minor issues), and the hotel WiFi was pretty slow. Overall, a very good value for the price!
I've stayed in nicer places. Stayed here mostly base on price and breakfast. Breakfast was barely worth it. Helpful hint: If you are going to offer free breakfast, don't scrimp the cost down to where the food is the quality of a convenience store. Hotel need a remodel. Small things need attention like bathtub/shower that creaks because they didn't put mortar under it. Cheap shower head, Timer for hot tub in pool area was broken. They vacuumed the lobby during breakfast. None of these items are deal breakers, it just felt like a place to sleep and not like a quality hotel. I would still recommend based on basic service and low cost.
Located about 20 minutes northwest of Denver, Westminster once hosted the country’s largest apple and cherry orchards. Today, it boasts Waterworld, one of the nation’s largest water parks. That cool water will seem especially inviting after the annual Holy Cow Trail Stampede, a 10-k race 14 years running. The Westminster Mall offers the usual department stores plus 140 other shops.
