Good evening Miss, We do not have fried eggs, but there are scrambled eggs at breakfast; there also are eggs our guests can boil as long as they prefer. There are tomatoes at our breakfast, and saussages, but these are indeed not the fried kind. About the tea in the room, there is no kettle in the room. Tea and coffee downstairs are not free though. Because there were a lot of guests arriving at the same time when you checked in (it was a little before 14:00 on Saturday, so the busiest check-in time), and I felt it had taken quite a long time before all data for your rooms and those of the other guests (you did not all arrive together exactly at the same moment, so there were different other guests checking in at that moment between your rooms, making you wait for each other) had been properly recorded and everything had been explained to all guests, I offered you to take a free cup of tea from our machine when you came back from the room a few minutes later and you said you would like a cup of tea (because there was no kettle in the room). There must have been a misunderstanding between what I meant at that moment (you could take a cup)and what you thought I had meant (that it was always for free). My apologies for this misunderstanding. Standard hotel policy is that guests normally have to pay for all beverages downstairs. Letting you take a free cup of tea is therefore not standard hotel policy, but was a way you, your family and friends indeed could relax and start enjoying your stay in Blankenberge and Bruges after a long trip. There are water bottles, but these are indeed for breakfast; there is a free bottle of water in the room; it is not our policy guests take several extra bottles of water to the room without asking. When you came back to the hotel in the late evening, and my colleague saw there were about 12 persons standing at the coffee machine without first asking if it was possible to have a drink, my colleague therefore correctly told you this was not the hotel policy, so there was no need to check this with management.
