“Great town centre hotel”
This is a great family run hotel. The staff are friendly, English is spoken throughout even by the maids. It was very easy to find and although the hotel offered parking this wasn't needed as there was adequate street parking outside the hotel. Very close to the town centre and the Menin Gate. There is a comfortable lounge and bar area with plenty of reading material. Breakfast was excellent. There is no restaurant but the hotel is so close to the town centre that this was immaterial. I would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation about using the hotel again.
“Nice family run hotel.”
Nice family run hotel in the heart of Ypres. Parking is in the street outside hotel.
“Didn't want to leave”
After travelling around northern Europe for a couple of months we found this gem. This is a family run hotel and it shows in its character with none of that sterile emptiness of a chain. Lovely welcome at reception, very helpful, spotlessly clean comfortable room, nice bathroom and a good breakfast. What more could you want! Decided it would be lovely to stay longer but unfortunately the hotel was booked out. I don't usually bother with hotel reviews but this one is certainly worth it.
“YPRES, if you want a good hotel, here it is.”
Well run and clean hotel, the staff could not do enough for you, the rooms had all you could wish for, central location for the town. A very nice 4 day stay, would certainly stay again.
“Noisy rooms, drunk people.”
Very noisy room overlooking the street. Lots of traffic and drunk people coming back to the hotel at 2.00 am, singing, shouting at people and then and making a lot of noise trying to get in.
