“It was cheap and in the right location”

The owners bought this old Day's Inn two years ago and are doing renovations as they can afford it. I told the front desk about the issues we had with the room, and she wrote down everything. Some of the amenities were good - nice waffle breakfast, pool looked clean (didn't have time to use it), bathroom was clean and looked like the tile was new. Other items weren't good - beds were smaller than advertised, refridgerator in room was plugged into outlet that turned off with light switch and needed a good cleaning. We were staying there because we were attending the Scarborough Renaissance Festival, which was the next exit on 35E, so didn't spend much time at the hotel.

“Not impressed”

Sink was left dirty. One of the towels was dirty. The little complimery shampoo bottle seemed as it had been there for ever.

“not impressed would not recommend this hotel”

the worst! no words. will never use this knights inn ever again/ yhank you. you did a wonderful job! the hotel needs health inspecters to check it out. everything from plumming, to cleaning our room. the manager to me they didnt clean because of our dog. he knew the dog was coming , an was there . the dog has better manners than stff. ask him why he didnt me to remove the dog , so staff could clean room, told because of dog? the entire stay the room was cleaned by myself, i did sheets, towels at my sons house. an bought our own toilet paper. at check out had to walk through room with staff , to ,make sure the dog didnt tear up the room. the room was fine. however he would not give me any receipt. the sink drain leaked had to use a trash can under sink to catch the water, an empty each day. the pool had no water in it/or chairs to set outin. so thats it. maybe check before inviting anyone to use through your service. thank you. more work than vacation! and coundnt even enjoy the pool the weather was great.
