“Only one flaw”
My only complaint with this hotel is that you cannot get a free cup of coffee anywhere on the premises. No coffeemakers in rooms, no complimentary coffee in the bar, nothing. You had to go into the restaurant, sit down, and order the coffee. We were looking for a cup to take on the go. The staff is very accommodating. The hotel is well maintained and the people at the front desk and concierge are very knowledgeable and helpful.
“One of Washington's top 3”
The Ritz-Carltons are in the top 3 hotel chains world wide. Fast but professional in everyway from car to room and once in room everyone in hotel greets you by name. rooms/suites are great size, bedding and furnishings comfortable, always feel new. great service worth every dollar spent.
“Better than expected”
Very attentive staff, wonderful food, overall great experience. I highly recommend.
“Can't wait to go back”
Great place to stay.
“Best 5 star hotel in dc hands down!!! Wish we could of stayed longer.”
The moment you pull up to this hotel you feel like Royalty. This is what great hotels are suppose to feel like just like the 4 star restaurants do. Front desk managers conciere all make sure you are in the finest hotel. The rooms perfect beds shower amazing first rate beauty products in bathroom . Breakfast was amazing the brunch and if you stay there you will agree it's just that good. Can't wait to go back!!
“solid hotel, good value”
nice property, good value for the money. Probably more like a 4* than 5* hotel, but great location and friendly service. Didn't charge for the gym or internet, even though they probably should have.
“Above our expectation!”
The kids were very happy when they gave the kids some stuff animals as soon as we arrived. There were cookies waiting for them in the room. The staff were friendly and kind. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and soft. Really above our expectation.
“Ritz Carlton, Washinton DC”
The Ritz far surpassed our expectations during our brief stay in DC. First we were warmly greeted by staff who responded to our arrival, as if we were family. They seemed to genuinely care about our well being. We were haggard after many hours of travel, and our initial discomfort about being in a ritzy hotel in a disheveled state quickly dissipated. By some stroke of kindness, we were placed on the Club floor, and the benefits of this were Extraordinary!!The pastries, the fruits, the drinks were stunning and 5 star quality, and servers who were attentive, treating my wife and I like royalty. The beds and linens were scrumptous and the bath(room) was outstanding...One of our finest lodging experiences!!!!!!!
“Very good quality. Just what you expect from a Ritz property!”
as above
“Definitely would return”
The service was excellent and very festive for the holidays. The Dale Chihuly ceramics were a special touch. The only shortcoming was the concierge on the holiday was not very knowledgable about the SPA/Health Club used by the hotel in terms of services or prices. The daily "Presidential" cookies were very good along with all the extra amenities.
