Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room conditions were not great however. Room was dirty, with stains on the walls and what looked like some type of dried liquid on the ground. The closet door was falling off and light fixtures were iffy as to if they even turned on.

Hot tub was not working. Never had maid service. Was told upon check out I could have asked for it… but was never told I had to if I wanted it. Hotel is dated, but breakfast was good and hotel clean.

The room was not clean. I found items left behind by other travelers, in areas that a broom or vacuum would have reached. The sofa bed was a mint green color, covered in oil and dirt stains. The shower surrounding had mold growing. The outside of the facility was dirty with trash in the landscaping and lying around the grounds. The coffee brewer in the room had built up scale in the water reservoir, which made it unusable.

We rented this room specifically to take our daughter swimming and the indoor pool was so cold that no one could even get in it and the hottub jets didnt work but atleast it was warm.

Unlike other Springhill Suites
The hotel is a no frills version of a normally high end establishment. It was clean, and comfortable. The walls are thin and the plumbing is loud. The rooms are bigger than the furniture inside was meant for. But, all.of that is reflected in the price. As for the breakfast, it is the lowest grade I've experienced and i stay at Marriot hotles 10-20 times per year.

Convenient to the main highway. Rooms were very nice but could use a clean of the bathroom fan-rest of room very clean and comfortable. Like the small sink and fridge in the room as convenient to make a snack and clean up. Breakfast was good but ran out of stuff and had to ask for food to be replenished-this should not happen as staff should be on top of this.

Pretty good place
The hotel and room was clean. Staff was very friendly. A couple of nitpicks- the outer walls are very thin and it sounds like traffic from the nearby roadway is coming through the room. The fridge sounds like an aquarium running... maybe water going to ice maker or something? No leaking water though. The juice machine was not working for breakfast.

This place could use some serious updating. So many things not working or in poor shape, including ice machines, lamps, furniture, pillows, sheets. No sheets were in the suite for the pull out sofa and when we called to ask for some, the response was almost comical; after two attempts (and asking them to bring the sheets up after they first told us to come down to the desk) we finally got two sheets. The one positive thing was the employee who brought some breakfast stuff back out when we were late to breakfast (forgot it closes earlier on week days!). We have stayed at this hotel once before, about 9 months ago and don’t remember it being this grungy. Probably won’t stay here again.

The hotel was so dirty and poor quality we left and found another hotel. Still waiting on info on a refund or credit . Read RECENT reviews, something changed here.... very very poor. I have pics, but the app wont let me in to my pics. Stains, holes, mold... just think.. terrible...

I've sought out Springhill Suites during my travels for years based on a prior positive experience at this location. That ended with my recent stay. I was shocked at the condition of this hotel! The first room we were given featured unmade beds, (bare mattresses, no bedding), left over food and trash on the desk, and couch cushions piled up in the floor. The second room wasn't much better, with non functional lighting/outlets, a barn door to the bathroom which would not close, filthy floors/walls/curtains, a wonky toilet, and a disgusting shower curtain. Everything was grimy, and if we weren't coming off of a 14 hour day of travel/activities, we would have left to find other accommodations. In the morning we were met with a freezing cold shower, and a questionable looking breakfast. We opted instead to pack up and get the heck out of there, but not before inquiring about a $30 mystery charge that popped up on our card. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, and Marriott should be ashamed to have their name associated with it.

This property is listed as under renovation, but that is making light of the hotel. There was one working ice machine in the entire hotel...there were four machines total. The jets were not working in the hot tub. So many other things were either broken or in rough shape. The furniture in our room was stained as well as the bed spread. The floor had been redone, but under the vinyl tile, the base was uneven and has a big dip in it. Would not stay again.

We were disappointed to find that there were no grab bars that were usable for safety. The tub had a concave bottom which made it difficult to stand on. There was no extra toilet paper and no shampoo and no soap in the shower, the dispensers were empty. Good points were; clean room, excellent mattress, excellent tv and breakfast.

The staff was nice, the room has a SIGNIFICANT mold problem in the bathroom. The curtain were covered in stains. The walls have badly filled holes and the fire detector in the room was covered in masking tape, so I’m sure that wouldn’t work if it needed too. Stay away!

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. My definition of renovarions differ than theirs. First room (407) had mold on the wall in the bathroom which was obviously there for awhile. Requested a new room. Appeared clean but after first night, lack of toiletries as well as behind the dressers which were battered, showed sheet rock dust and a used pill pack. This place was not clean at all. And other guests commented in the lobby as well. I won't be staying here again when I visit Pittsburgh.

I guess you get what you pay for. The entire 2nd floor was under construction and the hallways smelled very bad. The gym was non functional. There was a 5, 10 and then 25 lb weight. The treadmills didn't work. They're laundry was also only functional with quarters. The hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. That was probably the best part of the hotel.

Complete dump. The floors are filthy, carpets almost worn to the floor, shower leaks, outdated milk on breakfast bar,this place states they are doing renovations, aka our place is a dump. Never will we ever stay here again.

One of bed missing conforter. We ask front desk to correct it. And he bring bed cover instead conforter. Two glass beside the coffee machine was oily with finger print on then. Very bad feeling .
