Great location right around the corner from the Whihte House. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly the doormen.

This is a great place to stay because you are between two metro stops and just a short block from the White House. When you return to the Hotel you are always greeted with a smile and hello!

My husband and I completely enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel. It was a block and a half from the metro (easiest way to get around for the price) and two blocks from the White House. It was close to an abundance of deli cafes and it felt like there was a Starbucks every two blocks or so. The bed was very comfy (we're picky) and the seperate shower/bathtub was nice. High shower head for tall people! Very clean room! The room was surprisingly quiet, too! We didn't eat at the hotel restaurants, but after touring the town we realized their prices weren't all that bad.

“Sofitel Stay for Birthday”

Took my girlfriend to the Sofitel for one night for her birthday. Staff was extremely professional and courteous, room had a great European feel with a fantastic bathroom. Would stay here again anytime.

My husband and I were extremely impressed with this hotel. Beautiful!!!!!! Staff was very friendly and accomadating. Couldn't ask for better service. This hotel has the best location. Just around the corner from the White House and within walking distance of everything!

“Nice Washington Hotel”

Nice employees, facility, and location. You can either walk to everything or jump on the Metro about three blocks away. The only thing it was missing was a swimming pool.
