“Will definitely go back”

The hotel room was like a studio apartment. It was extremely comfortable. I really liked the fact that it had a kiosk in the lobby that provided directions to local attractions. If ever, I am in Washington again, it is the place that I will stay. There is no comparison.

“Great stay!!”

What a great hotel! The rooms were clean and the staff were top notch. The free breakfast was wonderful and was a little different each day. They even have complementary dinner Monday-Wed. nights too! Can't beat it. The hotel will also shop at the grocery for you with no service charge, you just leave the list and they charge it to the room. The metro is a block away and the hotel is in walking distance of all of the major monuments and museums.

“Great location”

Fantastic location--a block to the metro and three blocks to the Capitol. The rooms were fine, too. My only complaint was that the breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage) were always cold. But it was always well cooked and there was lots of other things--breads, cereals, fruit and yogurt. And hey, it was complementary. There's only one really close restrauant--an old fish house that was very good. We'd definately stay there again.

“I loved it”

Just amazing. Room with entire set of appliances, including a full-fleged kitchen. Nice (and free) breakfast - do try the waffle. Welcomimg staff. Convinient location. Ask how to get to the fish market, it is close and you are going to be impressed if you like fresh oisters or spectacular view of multiple fish and crabs.

“What a find!”

I have nothing but praise for this lovely hotel. The breakfast buffet each morning is astonishing in quality & quantity as well as FREE; hotel staff were helpful and very pleasant. We feel so lucky to have found this quiet, comfortable, clean location. And the free cookies at the front desk were an added touch of class. We appreciated the hotel gift shop and the lovely ride in the hotel-provided Lincoln when we were leaving--elegant, air conditioned, clean, and the same cost as a taxi. From this hotel, it's a nice walk to the Hirschorn Museum, Air and Space, and the new Native American Museum. Use the Metro from the station just 1.5 blocks from the hotel to go wherever you wish.

“Best Hotel in Capitol Hill”

The staff was very pleasant, room service was A+, breakfast was incredible. We got extra towels, they will turn the sofa bed every night, very friendly staff and very well located! Nice nice nice place to stay!

“Close to everything”

We were in D.C. to do some sightseeing and watch our daughter run a half marathon . Everything was extremely convenient. We walked everywhere . And the train stop was around the corner that took us to Georgetown . It was a great time !! I was very happy with the Residence Inn and would recommend it to anyone going to D.C. Especially with a family. The free breakfast was good , a nice way to start the day of walking and seeing D.C.

“Pleasent experience”

Nothing bad to say other then during the busy time this might be difficult to find if like us you are not used to navigating tight crowded cities. Once there we never needed the car and just walked to every thing. Hotel made us feal at home, comfortable wanting to stay longer.
