Room Amenities
Rooms
This nine-story brick hotel offers 151 suites, all with spacious balconies surveying the city or overlooking Washington Circle and the George Washington University complex beyond. The decor is contemporary, the color scheme neutral splashed with jewel tones. Silky quilts and throw pillows top the beds. The wood-floored kitchens include full-sized refrigerators and gas stoves. Each suite is outfitted with a CD player, desk topped with faux leather, and easy chair with ottoman. Complimentary high-speed Internet access and television Internet access (surcharge) are available. Bathrooms at One Washington have separate, carpeted dressing areas with marble-topped sinks and swing-out makeup mirrors.
Dining
Circle Bistro - Dressed-up American favorites—some with a Mediterranean twist—dominate the menu. Highlights include Vegetable Strudel, Lamb Chops with Tomato-Eggplant Mousse, and, for dessert, Apple Beignets with Vanilla Sauce. Curved windows double as skylights over banquettes upholstered in burnt-orange corduroy. Glass panels separate the dining area from the lounge, a large honeycomb of spaces built around a fireplace. In summer, the space extends to the walled-in patio.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, and a pre-theater menu.
Recreation
The One Washington Circle Hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool. The small fitness center has a weight machine, exercise bike, stair machine, and treadmill.
Rock Creek Park, about a half-mile from the hotel, is a 1,800-acre oasis with hiking and biking trails, a nature center/planetarium, and remnants of Civil War forts. Trail rides are available through the Rock Creek Park Horse Center. The park has 15 soft-surface and 10 hard-surface tennis courts; reservations are generally required.
Hains Point, about three miles from the hotel, offers an 18-hole golf course, a two-tier driving range, and a miniature-golf course that's on the National Register of Historic Places.

“Awsome place for a great price!”
Great place to stay in Washington, DC. I spend there 3 amazing nigths with great comfort. It is just one block to the closest subway station and with many close options to have diner or to get some drinks with your friends if you want. Wide rooms with kitchen, including microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer. Awsome!
“One Washington Oh Yeah!”
My hotel stay was fabulous. It is near Georgetown. Nice shops and restaurants nearby. The hotels restaurant serves great food.
“good location”
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very spacious. We were on the 4th floor and had the little balcony. Next time I will try to get one with a real balcony. The location is excellent with a 1 block walk to the metro and all the college kids around, it felt very safe.
“a Gem of a Hotel”
We are a well travelled couple who found One Washngton Circle a gem! Great location..near two popular food stores, Stabucks..but coffee beans, a grinder and a coffee maker is in the kitchenette ..gas stove, m.w, full sized fridge everything to have a simple meal in the room. Nice to have that choice. Staff was very helpful. The hop on/off bus stopped at the door.. Property is well aged but comfortable. If there was a drawback it would be the noise from the ambulances working the hospital nearby. Will stay exactly here when we go to DC in the future. Cipi
“Great place to stay”
This hotel was in a really good position to be able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit in Washington. We liked the neighbourhood as there were lots of good restaurants nearby and the station was close by if you needed to travel by the underground. The room was huge and was very clean. It was very handy having a full kitchen and we made use of the laundry facilities. I'd recommend this hotel as a great place to base yourself in Washington.
“OWC 2011”
Comfortable and friendly hotel. Convenient for Metro (Foggy Bottom) link to Dulles Airpot (via West Falls Church Bus). Close to two excellent food markets and a short walk to Dulles Circle. On a good day, this is also an easy walk to The White House/Downtown or again, you can take the Metro.
“Value for money”
This is a good value for the price. Rooms are clean and very large.
“Would stay there again”
Liked the fresh coffe beans!
“Great location”
This hotel offers spacious rooms along with the benefit of good location to the Metro and easy walking distances to restaurants and DC sights.
“Fantastic Location Large Modern Rooms”
One Washington Circle is a hidden gem. The hotel was completely renovated and updated several years ago. It is walking distance to Georgetown shopping, the Foggybottom area, and fantastic restaurants. Room rates include free WiFI, but valet parking is extra.
