The smoke-free Kellogg Conference Hotel is located on the campus of Gallaudet University, the world's only university specifically designed for deaf and hearing-impaired students.
Complimentary shuttle service, based on availability, is provided between the hotel and Union Station, as well as other nearby destinations. The hotel's Bistro features seasonal, sustainable foods and is open for breakfast daily and lunch Monday - Friday. The Outtakes Internet Bar and Gift Shop offers light lunch, snacks, gifts, wireless Internet access, and complimentary use of PCs. In the evenings, guests can unwind with drinks at the chic Break Lounge.
Guests also enjoy access to the fitness center, open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM (hours subject to change). The state-of-the-art conference center offers 17,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

“Excellent choice”
We were very pleased with the hotel and with the shuttle service to Union station. We visited Washington in early January, when there were no crowds and it was easy and convenient to move around. Our visit also allowed us to visit Gallaudet university, which we did not know before this visit.
“Excellent Hotel, Great friendly staff”
I stayed at the Kellogg while taking a class at Gallaudet University. I was there for 2 weeks. There is shuttle service to Union Station until 7:30 pm every day. They also have a VERY nice man that provides a shuttle service to ANY WHERE in the DC area free of charge. All of the staff were great and extremely helpful. There is also 24 hour security on campus, which made me feel very safe. I would recommend this hotel to any one, and if I am in the DC area I would stay there again.
“Our 1st time to Washington D.C.”
The hotel was great for a family. It was a quiet atmosphere for the family. The shuttle is easy to use and convenient to get to Union Station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was great and the housekeeping staff did a great job keeping it clean. Our next trip we will be staying there again.

“Is a singular and comfortable hotel”
The services are good, and a free shuttle service to sites in the city center like a "Metro Station" make so easy the displacement in DC.
“very quiet location in DC”
This was my second stay at the kellog Conference Hotel on the Galluadet campus. I came back because of the quiet location. This time I drove my own car. Finding the campus was easy with my GPS. It would not be difficult without PGS. The room was spacious, the mattress extremely comfortable. room appointments very nice. Main detraction: no evening meal service. I had piozza delvered two evenings, ate out otherwise. The neighborhood is in need of rennovation, but that is happening. I did not feel uncomfortable walking in the neighborhood during daylight hours, but might have after dark. I recommend this 97 room hotel enthusiastically.
“Great value”
When we arrived I thought the location was too far from the centre. However, there's a great free shuttle bus takes you to Union Station in 10 mins and a metro station takes 10 mins to walk to. So no problem at all. Lovely staff, clean room, nice food (also had lunch there the day we arrived).
“Great Place to Stay”
The staff was wonderful, especially Tiffany. The Gallaudet shuttle to Union Station/Kellogg was always timely. Kellogg also offered an additional shuttle driven by Kenny. He was very helpful answering tourist questions and getting us to our destination quickly and safely. The Bistro is expensive, but you can eat breakfast and lunch on campus for a much lower price. We had a great time and felt safe. I would stay here again any time.
“Very nice!”
The hotel is part of a conference center and I seemed to be one of the few people who was not there to attend a function on the campus. The hotel was somewhat difficult to find because it is located within the fenced boundary of a large university campus. However, with some directions from the security gate, I was very pleased with the setting and the hotel itself.
“Quiet hotel!”
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was a very nice and very quiet hotel. But I will say that the pool was not attached to the hotel and not open often. Also, some of the amenities seem to be subject to change. Two mornings there was no continental breakfast available and another night the shuttle bus had different hours than posted.
