“Great surprises”
We had a great stay and would surely return. We traveled with our two teenage grandaughters and "they loved it." The great surprise was the "manager snack" from 5 to 7, Monday thru Thursday. It was a meal in itself. The hot breakfast each morning was also wonderful. they served the best scrambled eggs, I've ever tasted.The staff was most friendly.
“Would like to go back”
We had a comfortable suite with everything we needed for four nights. The evening meal was a bonus as there weren't dining places close by. Excellent breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.
“Very nice room with lots of extras.”
Very good value for a hotel in the center of the city. Rooms were setup perfectly for long visits but accomadate the short weekend visits well also. The free breakfast was much better than other hotels offered and the Monday to Thursday free welcome snack was above and beyond expectations. I would definately stay in this hotel again and will be looking for other HomeWood Suites in the other cities I travel.
“Can't wait to go back”
This was our 5th girls trip. We've stayed in various hotels over the years. This was by far the best choice so far. We got exactly what we wanted and more! The continental breakfast exceeded anything we were expecting. The location was perfect and the staff were very accommodating with our need for extra towels! I would 100% recommend this hotel unless of course you have a need for a pool or balcony (which we didn't). The only thing I would have to complain about are only having double beds to choose from and not queens but most hotels I checked out only had that option anyway and the beds were comfortable. So that is a minor complaint.
“Best hotel ever!!!”
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visting Washington DC. The staff were always extremely helpful, the hotel suite was spacious, there was compliementary printing, internet access, hot breakfast buffet and dinner. What more could you ask for?

“Great family ski hotel”
Loved the hotel. Our room was great, the included breakfast was very good, the staff were very helpful and the location was great. If the snow is not down to the village, the hotel would not be ski in. When we were there it was, so it was very convenient.
“Comfortable Holiday Base”
Suite in good decorative state and very comfortable - quality HD televisions and although facing Massachusetts Avenue little noise. Kitchen not really much use due to lack of the right pans etc but we ate out anyway. Manager's special free meal pretty basic but suited us well enough on the day we arrived - likewise breakfast but plenty of fruit and muffins to take away. Would stay again happily and would recommend it to others.
“a pleasant surprise”
The hotel was within walking distance (about 1/2 mile) to the convention center. It provided a full breakfast every day, and even a very nice dinner (Mon through Thursday), including beer and wine. The rooms were spacious, with a living room, partial kitchen (including burners for stove top cooking). The front staff was very helpful and gracious. And it cost less than many nearby hotels that had made "special price deals" with my convention.
“DC Homewood Suites”
Very nice hotel. Managerial staff was top-notch and we felt like we knew them personally before we left. Nice breakfast and dinners throughout the week. Furniture in the lobby was slightly worn and it seemed like the breakfast during the week catered more to business guests (rather than leisure travelers) because it closed promptly at 9 am. Despite these small things, I would recommend the hotel. For the price it couldn't be beat.
