“Great Location!”
My family and I planned a quick weekend getaway to DC and chose this hotel because of the great price and its convenient location. We were not disappointed! Try to get a room on the street side, lower floors. not only do you get a view but they are bigger as well. The immediate neighborhood was excellent with lots of small restaurants (highly recommend the Cafe Mozart around the corner, great German fare, beer and entertainment). It is only a short walk to the White House and then from there to the monuments. We have small children so this was especially important! For a Smithsonian trip, the McPherson Square metro stop is right across the street and only a few stops and your there. The service was excellent and the valets especially were very helpful and friendly. Lobby bar great decor and atmosphere (early last call though). Only negative I can say is that the pool was very small and no hot tub but that seems like a small complaint after all else went so well.
“Loved it and So Convenient too”
This was our second stay and I was just impressed as the first time. The rooms are wonderful, clean, and comfortable. It's so centrally located to all of the places you want to go in DC. A short walk to monuments, the White House, and the Smithsonian. The hotel provided a great list of suggested nearby restaurants which were delicious and also had great service. The on!ly negative was when we went to the hotel bar, they made the drinks much stronger than I like to drink them. Otherwise this was the perfect hotel and I will be staying there next time I go to DC.

“Wonderful experience - great DC location!”
We loved this hotel - the staff was warm and helpful and the rooms were large and well appointed. It is in a great location - close to the White House, monuments and fabulous restaurants. The warm cookies in the lobby everyday around 5:00pm were delicious! We will be back!

“Great Location, Friendly Staff, Will Return Next Year”
This was our second stay in past year. Very convenient to sights/metro. Hotel staff always friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, updated decor. Was a bit noisy as we were in close proximity to elevator and at intersection of 2 hallways directly across from the vending/ice machine :( But that was our only "complaint". Will return in future - good value and location.

“Great Location”
Walking distance to White House, the Mall, MCI Center, and the Metro is directly across the street. We could get anywhere without a car, and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
“Will always stay there”
I must say I was hesitant about booking a hotel over the internet, but I was not displeased at all. Evan the party of three that was with me kept saying that it was a Great choice. It is so convient to everything and the staff were always so helpful and pleasant. I will always make this hotel my choice when in DC.
