“I'm in At Days Inn!”
I was desperte to find a hotel on Connecticut Ave. in Washington within 2 days and told the search engine. Up comes Days Inn at 4400 Connecticut - I was pleasantly surprised and pleased when I checked in and felt so welcomed when I entered my room - I could not the beat price for the excellent room that was mine for the four days that I spent there. It was an answer to prayers - Tell you what - I'll find another Days Inn wherever I travel next
“Loving Washington DC”
the hotel staff were all very nice & friendly to my son. our room was clean with fresh towels daily. my bed was a little bit too firm for my liking but i'm used to sleeping on a sleep number bed at home.
“Very Good”
Very Good overall. Only negative point: the windows in my room didn't close perfectly and could hear some noise from the street.
“Nice Hotel”
Only negative was that I could hear the subway during the day.
“No frills”
Nice clean hotel, easy access to metro, would stay again.
“This is an impressed hotel”
The room is clean and comfort. Especially the bed is great, one of the best beds I have ever slept on.
“Great family vacation”
We stayed at the Connecticut Ave Days Inn five years ago and were very satisfied with the room. Now that the hotel's been renovated, we were even more pleased with our stay there this time. The room was clean, bright and even seemed bigger. There was an iron and board, the a/c worked well and wasn't too noisy. We heard muffled voices thru the walls once, but not enough to keep us awake. Take earplugs if you're a really light sleeper. But the best part about this hotel is its closeness to the Metro. It's about the equivalent of a city block away from the Metro and when in Washington, that is priceless. We heard other tourists remarking about their long Metro rides into the suburbs, especially on the Red Line, and we were glad we could get off in the city at Van Ness. Great neighborhood, nice place - go there.
“Would definitely go back”
My fiance and I took a trip to DC to see a show. I looked up the website of the venue and hotels near by. I found the Days Inn site, and decided to make reservations for 2 nights. The room was small, but it was cozy. It was in a good neighborhood with restaurants and shopping very close by. They have a parking garage, $20 a night, but most places you want to go, you can walk or take a cab. The rooms have wifi, so if you choose to take a laptop theres no difficulty getting on the web, and they don't charge you for it like some places. The bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome, which was a plus! We plan on going back to DC in a few months, and we will definitely stay at the Days Inn again!
“DC Hot Spot!”
My experience at this Days Inn was a positive one. The Front Desk staff was very accomodating, providing us with a smooth, hassle-free check in. The room itself was clean and spacious. Had no problems whatsoever. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood, with plenty of exciting restaurants to choose from. The only downside was that the hotel restaurant was not open for breakfast--wouldnt have necessarily minded a continental breakfast, but it was hard to find somewhere decent for breakfast. The hotel was just a couple blocks away from the Metro, so we weren't too far away from getting around to exploring all that DC has to offer. I hope you consider the Days Inn on your next trip to DC.
“would definately go back”
This hotel is right on a train line only a few minutes walk away. Which got us into the heart of everything. There are restaurants nearby, that serve great food. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. we loved it and wouldnt hesitate in going back.
