“would definitely come back”
Although the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" that is what actually appealed to me. The metro station was around the corner, which made it very convenient to get around. In addition, there were always taxis waiting by the front door. A parking garage is actually connected to the hotel, which proved to be invaluable. Although there aren't many stores in the immediate area, the Starbucks, Subway, and CVS were more than enough for "emergency" visits. The service staff was very professional and courteous, and the small dining area was more than enough for a good breakfast. The proximity to the stadium is a bonus for those that intend to check out a baseball game. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Washington.

Nice hotel, good location. There is a Subway and Five Guys next store. Hotel food was good.
“Courtyard at Naval Yards”
We were greeted at front desk upon arrival with positive assistance, all questions were answered and desk clerk provided local information. Exercise room was small but all equipment worked well and was very clean. Pool area was clean and well organized. Breakfast was outstanding and servers were friendly and helpful. Only thing that was not good was that our bed was extremely soft. Very convenient, clean and excellent location only one block from Metro station.

Staff was extremely helpful and the hotel itself is a gem. Was only a 3 minute walk from Nationals Park as well.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night this past weekend. As soon as we walked into the hotel lobby we were greated in a very nice and welcoming way. Check-in was quick and hasselfree (just the way it's suposed to be) even though we arrived 1 1/2 hours prior to check-in time. Teh room was really nice both in interior design and size and it was clean! We had a King sized bed, flat screen TV, free internet connection (just plug cable (in the room) into your computer and you're all set). The staff was very polite and seemed to greet everybody with a smile. We didn't try the restaurant at the hotel, but we did enjoy the breakfast buffe wich I can really recomend. I would stay here again...actually I would almost go back to Washington just to stay at this hotel!
“Wish we stayed there all week.”
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, had a wonderful large clean room with king bed... great location to the subway. Nice lounge. We went for the weekend to see DC before moving to a big ritzy hotel for twice the cost (for a business meeting that work was paying for) wish the meeting would have been at this hotel, it was perfect. The room had a very nice flatscreen tv, computer hook up, radio with MP3 wiring, coffee maker, iron, and everything very new. Will definately stay here again.
“Good Hotel in an area of town that is developing. Near ball park”
The nicest hotel in this area of DC. No decent restaurants within walking distance. Across street from subway station.
“A grat place to stay”
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The location was a block from the Navy Yard Metro station. However.... the jacuzzi/pool area never had any towels available and the lobby bar is closed on Saturdays.
“Comfortable/Clean/Convenient”
Decided upon this hotel based on reviews by other users. Very easy to reach from airport using Metro and negated a need for a car. Buy a weekly unimited Metro pass and you can reach everything, including Mt. Vernon, easily. Area was very rough and unsafe 4 years ago, but great effort is being made to improve area and I felt safe at all times. Best advice we rec'dfor DC area: Take a tour at night, monuments are even more incredible then! My whole family agreed!
“The staff was wonderful”
Chose this hotel mainly for its location (near the metro and near the ballpark) but I found the real draw to be the staff. Although we did not really have any need for extended contact the fron desk staff and the wait staff were genuinely concerned with happiness and comfort as well as thoses of my 13 year old son. I felt they really liked their jobs and were proud of their jobs. The hotel was clean and very convenient and I would not hesitate to stay there often. I really have nothing negative to point out about our stay at the Courtyard
