“Great location, very clean hotel”
Very clean rooms, corridors, gym. Great staff and service. Good complementary breakfast.
“Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, great location”
all around great
“Comfort Inn - Appropriately named!”
This was a surprisingly comfortable hotel. Very quiet and subdued in a very pleasant neighborhood.
“Make your own waffles for breakfast”
Good value for money and well located. WiFi good too.
“decent place foyr a short sta”
i stayed for only a night. clean rooms and a good breakfast. 4 blocks from the convention center. the elevators need some ventilation though.
“Wonderful time in DC”
I was very impressed with the service and the cleanliness of the room. I asked for a large room and received it. It was very comfortable! The breakfast was excellent, make your own waffles with a real waffle iron. There was plenty to choose from. This saved me money that I would of spent having to eat breakfast out. Over the 6 days I was there I save at least $ 70.00 on food. It was close enough to the convention center to walk. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.
“Will always go back to this hotel!”
One of the finest hotels we have stayed in. The staff was more than helpful and courteous. There is a provision to keep your luggage in a store in case your flight departs later after you have checked out. The hotel is close to major attractions and metro centres. The breakfast buffet was hot, sumptuous and elaborate. We had a great stay. The room was also clean and well kept. Definitely more than value for money. if we get back to DC again, this is where we go to stay. Thanks a lot to all the staff of the hotel. Good show!!
“Wonderful Staff”
I think the hotel provided an excellent service overall but I feel that staff should have a special mention, particularly at Reception. Any problem was solvable, information and advice readily given and as people from another country we were made to feel very welcome and part of the local community. Would definately recommend to family and friends. Thanks Comfort Inn.
“Good Value Near Convention Center”
The price was right. Just a five minute walk to the convention center (which is also the nearest subway station). Typical motel type breakfast.
“I loved the fresh cookies and hot chocolate in the evening”
The atmosphere among both staff and guests was relaxed and friendly. I really loved the hot chocolate that was available 24 hours a day, and the warm cookies each evening. (Why do so few California hotels offer hot chocolate?) The room was clean and comfortable and attractive. My room faced an open area in between buildings, where the drone of an air compresser below helped block the ever-present traffic sounds of Washington D.C. For a few minutes one evening the water pipes below the floor in my room made a clicking sound. It didn't bother me--and it only happened once during my three-day stay. I would recommend this hotel, particularly if you want to be conveniently located near "M" Street, and if you book ahead and get a good rate.
