“Excellent Family Hotel in D.C.”

This was a really nice surprise. Great location a few blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro. Thai food, Papa Johns, and a very nice Italian restaurant all less than a block away. Nice flat screen TVs with high def pictures. Continental bkfst also quite nice. Full kitchen. Would highly recommend to families and would stay here myself as well.

“Excellent value and location”

Stayed in several hotels in DC and keep coming back to this one. Okay the rooms are a little tatty but they're huge and perfectly adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and internet just add to the convenience. The location is simply excellent.

“Great hotel at great (Expedia) price”

We read about the negative comments on the hotel saying it was too noisy being on Pennsylvania Ave, and not clean. Our room was spotless, the staff was always friendly, we were in the back so there was no road noise. valet always had our car available by the time we got to the lobby, location was great, 2 HDTVs were great. Only complaint is that it was too hot in D.C. that week but can't blame that on Washington Suites. A/C had no problem keeping up with heat. We could not have stayed there at the regular room rates but the Expedia rate was great considering the competition. Would stay there again.

“Friendly service in suites near Georgetown”

The suite was very roomy and well furnished with big screen TVs in living and bed rooms. All appliances worked. The only negative is that the noise from the next room was noticeable. There was a 3-4 year old in the adjoining suite and he could be heard frequently; noticeable, but not annoying. The biggest plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staf atall levels. Also there is a Trader Joe's within sight of the front door making meals inthe room very convenient and relatively inexpensive.

As stated above we were very pleased with all aspects of the Washington Suites. There were nearby restaraunts and grocery stores so we could eat out or in, whichever we chose. The location was convenient to the Metro so we didn't miss not having a car.

“Great 'Home' Base”

Great location just up from downtown Georgetown and a shortwalk to Foggy Bottom METRO. Metro bus and Circultator bus stops right out front of hotel. We parked our car on Wednesday and picked it up on Monday. We enjoyed our 2 Queen Suite w kitchenette. The Sav-a-lot in Georgetown was our source for groceries. CVS near and, Subway and Papa John's just across the street.

“Reasonable Rates in Georgetown”

The Staff were absolutely great. They were informative, helpful, and just overall friendly. The room was nice, not overly extravagant, but clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, but only had one bathroom (in the suites).

“Great Location and Price for an older property”

The common areas are small and the hotel is dated, but the service, room size, and staff are way above most five star places in town. the rooms are big enough for a family to stay and everything is a close walk away. The bus stops right in front of the hotel along the busy Penn ave.

“Great Space For a Family”

Hotel had ample space and better cooking facilities than most suite hotels. It is a bit of a stretch to say that it is in Georgetown proper, but it is a walkable distance from there and only 3 blocks to the Metro. Only issue that I had was the laundry facilities. 2 washers and 2 dryers for a large amount of people. Results in either long waits or coming back mid-day.
