“Clean, provides the essentials”
Clean room, courteous service, continental breakfast is bare bones, quiet, appeals to on-the-road crews rather than families, lower price than the other hotel in town
“the visit”
Perhaps the Sunday continental breakfast could serve until 10:00, instead of 9-- we went down at 9:10 and it was entirely cleaned up. Disappointing.
“American Motel”
Only issues I had was the room was cold. Had heard same complaints from others in their rooms. As far as the free breakfast, this was acceptable - however, any left over donuts and bread was there the next day, so they were not freash.
“As Advertised”
Simple hotel with not that many amenities. Breakfast was extremely modest and not worth the time. If you are looking for cheap place to stay this is the best deal in town.
“Charges for pet”
We were surprised to arrive and see posted all over the place $10 for pet with permission. $25 without permission. (We assumed this meant they'd charge your card if they caught you with a pet you hadn't told them about. It would have been nice to know there was a charge prior to booking the room....I would not have! I have never been to a motel/hotel that charged for a pet. It was a clean decent place to stay even if the staff was not friendly at all. The continental breakfast was the lamest we'd ever seen, but then again, you get what you pay for! We will not return but it served our purpose.
“hotel is very dirty”
checked into the hotel late at night it was very dirty and gross if we would not have been so tired we would have left
“horrible experience”
hotel was unbelievably old and run down. Air conditioner didn't work right, not much for tv channels, smelled awful, outside door handle was taped together! Would never stay here again! We were supposed to stay 3 days, left after 1st night.
“Cheap, smelly, uncomfortable...”
I asked for a non-smoking room. The room reeked of old smoke. I had to roll the pillow in half to try and get one decent size...flat as a pancake and the towels were dirty and gray...something I would use for cleaning jobs. And oh, the continental breakfast closes at 9:00 a.m. for those who might care to sleep in a little. I get the impression that the owner is not going to put one dime into this place.
