Pool was nothing great. Adult pool nice but a bit small. Everything food wise is expensive. Be prepared to pay but all hotels in this area are that way. Need a car to get around. Beach was nice but small. Would stay in condo for more value but if money isn't in question then it works.
The hotel is big with beautiful gardens, views, and beach front. It is not the newest, but it is comfortable and really clean. The staff is so nice and friendly. we included breakfast buffet with our booking, and it saved us money. The rooms had a small fridge, and the microwave is $25 per day by request. Our daughter loved feeding the fish everyday with the food given by the hotel staff in a little bag. They also have free valet parking, and free car service if going around Wailea-Makena. They gave us a ride to the Four Season and told us to call when we were done for pick up.
The food could be improved for the pool menu and room service. The balconies echo voices, so people can hear eachother. So, it is not a place for young partiers. They have free bikes, and rentals for snorkeling, kayaking, beach umbrellas, etc. Overall, we had a great time and will recommend it for a relaxing vacation.
2nd time at this hotel and room upgrade was worth the view. Cheap food @ pool bar, expensive at restaurant-all great. Remember to take walk along beachfront path or try jogging. And of course great weather all the time.
Nice condo, attractively appointed. Two bedrooms, although we needed only one. Well appointed roomy kitchen. Comfy lanai with view of Pacific. Unparalleled sunsets. We'd never been to Hawaii before and really didn't know anything about it. We were going with friends who had reserved a condo at Makena Surf, so we searched for a unit via Expedia. We couldn't have been happier with the result.
We stayed at several properties this trip and found Fsiomont topped the list in every category. We found the hospitality staff well trained with a passion to please each guest. The rooms may have been slightly outdated, but excellent condition and larger in size than other properties. We are already planning our return to Maui and have selecyed Fairmont Kea Lani as our choice hotel
We had a wonderful stay at Wailea Grand Champion Condos. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very nicely
decorated. There was a washer and dryer available, which was very helpful. There was also beach gear available
which we enjoyed using. The unit was so quiet and private that we didn't see or hear a soul! It was a relaxing place
to be at the end of a busy day sightseeing or at the beach. The grounds were immaculate and gorgeous. I would
highly recommend these accommodations to anyone visiting Maui! 4 visitors from Iowa

Located in south Maui, HI in the Wailea-Makena area, this resort is 2 miles from La Perouse Bay and Turtle Town. Destination …More
Hotel is very nice and staff was friendly but....
Lots of features were not open that was advartized in the hotel and the reason we decided to stay there. The Teen Spot was locked up, construction at the pool, and not enough seating in the pool area unless you were willing to spend additional $350 a day cabana. They all sat empty while everyone fought over the few remaining chairs.
A big corporate event was going on at the same time so large sections of the resort were blocked off for them and we had to detour around the large party.
Maui was great but the resort felt under construction.
Golf, golf, and more golf: the Wailea Golf Club’s three courses are a main attraction. Particularly, its Emerald Course is renowned for being one of the most friendly for women. Because the club is seaside, golfers can squeeze in seasonal whale watching during tee time. Shoppers can spend a few greenbacks at The Shops at Wailea, an upscale galleria with Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co.
