"Lovely Hotel with Great Location to rest and relax"
We had a wonderful time at the New Otani. We loved the location, just a nice walk from downtown. The hotel offers a beautiful beach and is surrounded with parks. We really appreciated not being in the traffic of Wakiki. The staff was very accommodating.

"Exceeded my expectations"
For being the only Pet Friendly hotel closest to dying friend's residence I was expecting a flea bag hotel (pun intended ... lol) but when I opened up the door to my room I was totally surprised! ...and I had some ocean view too! Pretty impressive. Only thing to keep it from being five star was the unexpected Boutique Fee (should have been up front about) but I gladly paid, and a newer TV and some kind of Room Service or snacks would have made it a 5 star all the way around....but it's still extremely impressive and the staff was top notch. Wish I had the time to enjoy their afternoon wine time...unfortunately my schedule did not permit.

"The perfect getaway!"
This was the second time we've been to Honolulu and we've stayed at Park Shore both times. They've updated very nicely since our first time in 2008. We love the atmosphere and the location and the staff is super nice!

"Enjoyed out Stay"
Had a great time as we stayed 11 nights in a Diamond-Head view on the 18th floor. The beach is a short two block from the hotel and there are numerous places that are a short walk away. Its more quieter and relaxed and this end of the hotel zone compared to the busier area of Waikiki. Never had air conditioner on once as as the windows open everyday to enjoy the breeze coming through the room. Also had a lanai which was nice. Would stay and recommend this place to friends again. Only negative is this is not a new hotel but very charming in its decor. Noise might bother some but didnt bother us.

"Hostels are Great"
We stayed at the Polynesia Hostel for 2 nights. Our arrival at check.... Jessie was GREAT!! He was very accomodating.... Fidel, the hispanic guy who made pancakes was also GREAT!! The older woman who lives there.... I try to be friendly to her but she was not responsive... I tried to be nice to her 2 times and I left her alone... One time she was sitting, smoking and I thought maybe she would be nice but she kept to herself..... I don't know if it is the age difference... but the younger people were more friendly and outgoing..... she could try to be friendly... The bathrooms were disappointing... a new tub or walk in shower needs to be put in..... it was clean but it was gross looking.... old and chirping away.... it was not inviting to take a shower... it looked dirty but it was just yellow and old.... after that we decided we needed to find another place.... some hostels are good some not so good..... Fidel.... I am not sure of his name... made the best pancakes and was so friendly but he kept being on the lookout as if someone was watching him (I think the older lady)... But he was so friendly and wanted to answer all my questions about Waikiki.. Shely the supervisor was pretty friendly.... the place is nice it just needs to upcoming and cleaning and it would be great!! the common areas were not sweep and the yard could be cleaned up a little more. I liked the painting in the common areas and going up the stairs.... that made it look nice.

"Awesome location, beach right across the street"
Wonderful location. Awesome to just cross the street and be at the beach. Not right in the hustle and bustle of the storefronts!

"Hostel of Excellence"
Amazing....first time experiencing a Hostel. Met several great people from around the world. The conversations, interaction, and kindness was enlightening. In three days, I got to know 5 people from Norway, two from Calgary/Vancouver/Victoria, one from Australia, one from Amsterdam/NYC, 2 from Russia and 1 from San Fran. Would that ever happen in a Hyatt or Hilton? No....this was an experience that I recommend everyone experience. Two minute walk from the beach, next to the Honolulu zoo, plenty of bars and restaurants walking distance away. Go to North Shore, it's worth the trip and is gorgeous. Staff was very pleasurable and they tried to accomodate guests at all times.

"Week at Ewa Hotel!"
It was clean staff was nice and always helpful. We had double twin kitchen studio, honestly it was not bad of course we would more enjoyed queen beds but it was ok. Stove worked great air condition rocked, tv and movie rentals were awesome. Two things that we do want to share the bathroom no ventilation.....no fan....very very small. We had to laugh yep go for a walk while the other one is in the bathroom...Anyway the other was the elevator seemed so slow my other half would take the stairs and always made it before me....Again we had to laugh...Your in Hawaii to have fun and that was nothing for how much we had fun there!!! Thanks Ewa Hotel Staff!
