200 yards to a shoping mall and market, the first to do is buy the transportation tickets on a tobaaco store in the mall, just front the cashiers of the market and take the bus 150 or 213 to the metro stop and all the city tour will be easy.. to back to the hotel take the same bus, is easy and fast.
The temperatura on the city was higt then we wake up early on the morning go to our trip and back at the noon to sleep and refresh and back the trip at 5pm
Hotel needs air condition in the rooms. Breakfast had very poor selection. Mattresses on beds are very, very hard to sleep on. If you looking for quiet time, that hotel is situated close to downtown but on pretty noisy street and very close to train with noise all day and night.
Although the apartments were very nice the first few days the weather turned cold and they would not put any heating on even though the apartments had central heating. As a result my mother in-law who is 81 felt cold to her bones and now has a chest infection

I stayed for 2 nights and it was a nice time. I walked a lot to reach trim. the trim will drop you behid the Musume building. it is too far if you want to reach chales bridge. also, you don't feel very safe while going back to the hotel. you need to walk between building and a very quit and dark area. just be with a partner and becarful.

Firstly, the hotel contacted me in advanced to ask about our anticipated arrival. The lady was also VERY helpful in letting us know that construction was taking place on the road in front of the hotel. She went out of her way to email us a map to get around it, and to find parking. I really appreciated that.
The location is about a 45-55 minute walk to Old Town, but city transportation is right off the main road.
As for the hotel, there is a working lift, everything is modern and clean, and in general, the hotel is quiet.
I didn't opt for the breakfast option when booking, but decided to walk down in the morning and see what they had offer. We learned that breakfast is made according to the reservation. If nobody opts for breakfast upon booking, there isn't a buffet, or pay now option. I don't fault the hotel for this. I mention it just in case anyone is curious. We ended up walking to Lidl for breakfast pastries, which isn't too far (15-ish minutes), and easy to find along the main street.
As for things to do around the hotel: The pub/restaurant across the street is wonderful. We grabbed some quick fries and beer in the back and listened to live folk music. Kid friendly, so it seemed (we had our four kids there at 22:00, and a couple had a baby). Also, Vysehrad isn't a far walk, but I recommend following the main street to it. If you take the other way, it's longer and more tiring (we did both).
Overall, we plan to stay again when we return to Prague!

Plus points, great location, next to the tram stop, 4 stops away from Muzeum (the downtown centre of activity) Do not buy the 18 CZK tram tickets, buy the 26 CZK ones as it allows you 75 minutes of travel and unlimited changes. Beware of teh foodstalls in W-Sq. Coffee is 15, water is 45 ! Total ripoff. Hotel staff is friendly, breakfast is standard.
Had a very large pillow with hardly any stuffing inside it so it was quite uncomfortable to use so had to use a rolled up bed throw as a booster. Staff were absolutely fabulous.
Had a fridge but no tea making facilities and had to buy a travel kettle myself.
Had an old style TV and of the 4 channels available only 1 was in English and that was BBC World News and could not retune it. Just glad I had my smart phone with me.
Overall, I had a fantastic time. I can't emphasise how wonderful the desk staff were. Really helpful.
Travel is really cheap. 551 Koruna (about £14 at 34 Koruna to the pound) gets you a full months travel on the Trams, Metro and Buses. Marvelous value.
Love the room and furnitures, the neighborhood is quiet. It is not right in the tourist spot but I love it is away from the crowd. Ron is definitely know a lot about Prague and interesting things to see in the city.
Vrsovice is a district situated 1.5 km south of the city centre and well linked to the city centre by subway. It is a typical residential neighbourhood. Major attractions are: Gothic St. Mikulas church and Art Noveau building called Občanské which now houses a bank.
