“exactly what i paid for”
I was nervous at first since I've never been to paris so I could only go by the pictures. When I got there I was very happy to see that it was beyond my expectations. Very clean, neat and customer friendly. I got exactly what I paid for.
“Was a pleasant experience”
I liked the hotel, it was as described and the front desk staff was nice. Also right next to a grocery store which made shoppingfor food easy. A bit far from the tourist attractions but easy enough to catch the bus to the metro station. I would stay at this hotel again, great for when you are on a budget. Plenty of tv stations, most in French which I loved. Also a nice refrig and plates,etc. Only complaint was one night front desk guy hit on me, which was annoying as I was a woman traveling alone. That was annoying, but I only saw him once. Everyone else was extremely helpful and professional, helping with directions, luggage and places of interest.
“Good hotel further out of the centre”
Nice hotel, a little way out of the centre but fairly close to public transport. Polite staff, great facilities, good sized room with a little kitchen and clean bathroom. Very clean room, but the bedding had some hairs on it. Bit of an industrial area but a couple of nice, well-priced restaurants nearby.
“Good choice”
Kind staff, clean room, full-set facilities, convenience public transport. Bus 183 from undergound(choisy station) The breakfast time is too early (7:00~9:00).
“Ok. Just ok.”
I spent 20 nights at this hotel while on vacation in the Paris area. I found the location to be off the beaten path if your desire is o actually see the city of Paris. The is a short walk to the bus stop which is a 20 min ride to the train station and then another 20 min ride to the louvre stop. The staff at this hotel are rude and very short if your French isn't great or even if you just simply have questions. They are not friendly at all here. The upside is that there is an effiicient kitchenette in the room which is great for longer stays and the market is literally in the same building on the first floor. The room was clean although the hallways always smelled stale or mildewed. The breakfast is expensive and not worth it. It's 7 euro per day for croissants, juice and yogurt which you can easily get at the market for 2 euro or less. The laundry facility in the basement is expensive at 5 euro per load. The hotel charges for local calls even to the Paris area. Internet, while free, require you to log in each hour which is an annoyance to be constantly interrupted. Stay here only if you must.
