The location was about a 25 minute Metro ride to the Eiffel Tower. The room was really nice just like the photos. There are tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Rude receptionist
Hotel is small but was clean. Nice neighborhood. The inly problem i had was the receptionist that was working there on a Saturday afternoon. He was rude to me when i arrive and he almost yelled at me when i did not understand him. I was feeling bad all day that day ,he made me feel horrible. Not good costumer service. The other receptionist jhon i think is his name, was really nice in the evening.

Outstanding staff
I stayed in one of the superior rooms which was over two floor, with the bathroom being down a spiral stair. The room looked out onto a small shared courtyard type area. The bathroom was huge and possible the best shower I have ever used in a hotel! The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, I had an issue with my hire car breaking down in a car park down the road from the hotel. The staff called me a taxi, dealt with the hire company, the hotel manager even moved the car to charge it for me and paid to park it, all whilst I was stuck at a meeting!! I did not eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast which was basic but very nice and enough to start your day. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its location, spotless clean and outstanding staff. I will be returning.

Super comfortable last-minute find
We had to make a last-minute reservation because of airline delays. We were very lucky to find this hotel, near Chateau Vicennes, with a staff that was most accommodating for our late reservation and 2AM arrival. The room was fairly spacious with a big, comfy bed, and was very clean and quiet (even at street level). The only problem was that the shower door wasn’t water-tight, so we had a bit of a flood to clean up after the first shower. LoL All-in-all, it was very nice, and I would certainly stay here again!

A nice hotel with friendly staff.
This was our second visit to this hotel & it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and good sized rooms/bathrooms. Breakfast is also good. Our only disappointment was the location of our room (room 2) as it is by the entrance to the courtyard and appears to be the gathering point for smokers so we had the smell of smoke in our room and the conversation of the smokers just outside our door at all hours. Also the plumbing was noisy so we were regularly woken up by 'singing pipes' when the people in the room above us used the bathroom in the night. We will use this hotel again because it is a good hotel, however we will not stay in room number 2 again.

Staff are good and friendly. The room i stayed in is old with 3 separate single beds but the bathroom completely renovated. Ugly red carpet on the floor is too old and fluffy stuff on the walls needs to be renovated into modern looks. The internet and tv service are horrible.

Check-in was simple. The front-desk is staffed 24-7 and they speak English so there was no language barrier. A few days before I asked via email to change the room from a single bed to two twin beds and that was done, no problem. While this is slightly outside Paris, transportation is easy and there are many late night restaurants. It's also across from the Chateau Vincennes, which I highly recommend as a place to visit.

Excellent hotel one metro stop outside Paris
This is a delightful hotel located in Vincennes, a charming suburb of Paris. Near good restaurants and transportation. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, room was compact but comfortable, very good value.

Vintage hotel
The hotel was a much smaller than expected. However, it was not all that bad. It was more of a homey feel and guest are treated with more attention due to the size of hotel. The location was great, it had many nice shops and restaurants as well as the metro. If you are looking to be in the center of Paris, this is not the place for you. Overall we had an amazing time, the staff Oj was beyond amazing. The hotel is lucky to have such a great worker like him. He makes you feel bery welcoming and is very helpful.

Convenient to the subway and great restaurants.
The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms range from microscopic to quite adequate. The staff upgraded my room to a larger unit at no charge. The hotel is conveniently located a block from the subway and a couple blocks from the light rail station. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby including French, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Thai, and even a Sushi restaurant.

Vincennes visit
What a charming hotel the St. Louis is! We enjoyed our stay, conveinant to shopping, Paris, the Bois de Vincennes, Champgny sur Marne and lots of restaurants. Petite dejeuner served in the AM for a slight cost, well worth the cost.Excellent staff, quality service! Room spacious. Definately will stay there again.

An enjoyable stay
This is a sweet little hotel in Vincennes. Its not that close to the central part of Paris but it is comfortable and clean and the staff speak a little English which makes it a little easier on "english only" tourists. The shower was terrific the only problem we had was negotiating the spiral stairs to the basement toilet & bathroom, you wouldn't want to be in a hurry. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel,

Best Western Saint Louis - Good Option for Paris
The Best Western Saint Louis was a great option for our recent Thanksgiving day weekend trip to Paris. It was only a 20 minute metro ride away from downtown paris and there's a metro stop just a block from the hotel. The hotel layout was nice and clean and the building was well maintained. Two words of caution though. #1 The room fits the stereotype of the European hotel room, i.e. it's small! #2 The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower wand however, it was not set up to be used as a stand up shower which made showering each day a bit tricky. But other than that the hotel was a great option for our trip and we would probably stay there again!

Great stay for the price
Location just off a Metro stop, nice because it was cheaper than downtown Paris, but all sights easy to get to via Metro. Rooms clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Right across from a castle, near restaurants with good food and nice service. We will definately stay here again and save our money for shopping in Paris! Definately worth the savings!

It was rather strange we ended up staying somewhere else because taxi drivers would not take us there. We were tired and fraustruated, I could ask questions in French but had a hard time understanding.

We recently spent 5 days in Paris and stayed here. It was very nice: clean, comfortable, etc. The front desk folks didn't speak much English but we didn't care. The metro is about a 2 minute walk and a 10 minute train ride in to the city. The surrounding neighborhood was also very neat, with a chateau right across the street and lots of restaurants and little shops in the nearby neighborhood.

L'hôtel en lui-même est bien, par contre je suis déçu par la plateforme expédia qui m'indique qu'il me reste uniquement 6.92€ à régler (taxe de séjour). Alors qu'avant de quitter l'hébergement j'ai été obliger de régler plus de 19 € (taxe de séjour) pour les deux jours de réservation. Autre point négatif la personne à l'accueil manque d'amabilité.

Cher Monsieur Nous sommes navrés du désagrément rencontré pour le règlement de la taxe de séjour. En effet celle-ci à augmenté au 1er janvier 2024 (après votre réservation). Sachez que cette augmentation n'est pas de notre fait - Suite à la promulgation de la loi de finances pour 2024 le 30 décembre dernier, au 1er janvier 2024, une taxe additionnelle de 200 % à la taxe de séjour dans les communes franciliennes, au profit de l’établissement public Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM).Article 140 de la loi de finances pour 2024 :« La section 3 du chapitre unique du titre III du livre V de la deuxième partie du code général des collectivités territoriales est complétée par un article L. 2531-18 ainsi rédigé :Art. L. 2531-18. – Il est institué une taxe additionnelle de 200 % à la taxe de séjour ou à la taxe de séjour forfaitaire perçue dans la région d’Île-de-France par les communes mentionnées à l’article L. 2333-26 ainsi que par les établissements publics de coopération intercommunale mentionnés aux 1 à 3 du I de l’article L. 5211-21. "Nous comprenons que cette annonce puisse être surprenante. Pour être transparent avec vous, cette modification s'applique à tous les séjours, y compris ceux déjà réservés et prépayés en 2023 pour l'année 2024. Ainsi, le montant total de votre séjour a été ajusté pour inclure cette augmentation de la taxe de séjour.Par conséquent, le tarif de la taxe de séjour applicables au 1er janvier 2024 passe donc de 1.88 à 4,88 par personne par nuit et ce, quel que soit la date de réservation (cette loi s’applique aux séjours réservés en 2023 pour 2024).Nous sommes pleinement conscients que cette situation peut être source de désagrément et nous tenons à vous assurer que cette mesure est imposée par la nouvelle législation, et non par notre établissement.Pour rappel, les établissements de tourisme collectent la taxe de séjour et la reversent à la Ville, Département, Région.bien cordialement
