“A fascinating experience and situation”
This is a bit of an unconventional spot with rooftop breakfasts and social activity - the entry level. Access is a bit challenging since there is no direct access by car. The Ascenseur Concepcion? from the city centre may actually be the best pedestrian access. We parked a rental car on the street in Cerro Alegre without any worries. great time, great people, great music choices and no televisions!!!
“A great choice in Valparaiso”
This is a new hotel that is making a big effort to please. It is well designed with spacious, very private rooms and a comfortable commons area with great views. During our stay there was still some rennovation that was incomplete, eg. lighting in the bathroom was yet to be finished. Its location near the acensor in Cerro Allegre is convenient to anything you might want to do in the city. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast, with fresh fruit, almond bread, mashed avocado, delicious jam, fresh orange juice and excellent coffee was a welcome change from the usual fare in South America, though after four days we were looking for a bit of variety. We were there for New Years Eve, which was great fun, though the plate of barbecued vegetables (the vegetarian substitute for the full dinner) was extremely poor value for money and hardly a festive dinner. Be sure to have a Fauna cocktail during your stay - very refreshing.
