This hotel is excellent for someone on a budget and for someone who has to stay near railroad/trains to all Lithuania destination. Also, this hotel is very close to airport ( only 7 minutes on a train). The trip to airport costs only 70 cents on the train. Only this makes this hotel desirable for travelers. It is exceptionally clean, with a good shower end everything you need for traveling on a budget. This hotel is very close to downtown. For me it is excellent when I go to Vilnius. I am definitely stay in this hotel again. Also, would recommend to my friends.

Value for money
A good value for money hotel. Close to the station and well situated just a short walk from the old town. Breakfast as other reviewers have said is more of a packed lunch. However, the hotel and room were clean and for the price paid, no complaints.

Good hotel
We had a lovely stay at this hotel as they were very flexible when we checked in the wee hours in the 28th September. The room as spacious and very clean, the only problem was the heater was not working but they gave us the small us that was good enough to warm the room.

A budget level hotel. Love the cleanliness and proximity to Old Town Vilnius. Everywhere very walkable. Airport is 20 minutes away by bus costs one Euro per person. A snip!

This was advertised as a 3* hotel at time of booking but it’s actually a 2*-rated property. We took it for convenience as it’s close to the airport and i was aware it was “different” from our usual type of hotel, however we found it disappointing to say the least. Everything in the room was extra old, but ok on this. The carpet flooring smelled like something old, stale and dusty. We opened the window to let the smell out but we couldnt keep it open as we were on the ground floor and (drunk?) people were passing by and screaming, it felt a bit unsafe. The mattress... my good, it may as well been filled with crumped plastic bags... the only good thing was the availability and helpfulness of staff. I would not recommend this property

Good location, 5-10 minute walk from the train/bus station, and only a short walk to the main squares and bars. Hotel room was basic but comfy. The bathroom was a bit small and not much room to manoeuvre but clean and everything worked, warm water for the shower etc. Stayed 3 days and bed linen was not changed though clean towels were given. Reception was friendly enough. Breakfast was more a packed lunch - sandwich, muffin and water. Overall, for the price, was basic but comfy enough and good location.

Very convenient location, clean and nicely smelling room, sweet little breakfast package and incredible value for the money. The TV probably remembers last 3 popes in office, bun no one needs it anyway.

Good value hotel, but poor breakfast
Very good value for money. Given big double room with private bathroom for one person. Basic and functional, but clean, comfortable and warm room. Very good location, 5 minutes from train and bus station for airport and trips to Kaunas and Trakai castle. 20 minute walk to Cathedral square. Good, helpful, English-speaking 24 hour reception staff. My only complaint is the poor breakfast. Advertised variously as continental/buffet breakfast, but it's neither. You are given a pack of meat or fish sandwiches, a chocolate muffin and a bottle of water. It's more like a packed lunch than a breakfast and the same everyday. No veggie option (so no sandwiches for you), no bread & jam, no pastries, no orange juice etc. etc. The website information and photos for breakfast are wrong and totally misleading.

Great value hotel in central Vilnius.
Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is basic but clean, functional and good value. Location excellent. Only comment I can make is that someone was smoking in an adjacent room.

After arriving a little after 3am straight from the airport, my partner and I where exhausted after travelling the majority of the previous day. We were looking forward to a lie in in the morning to recover from travel, little did we know that the floor above us wasn’t under heavy maintenance and drilling and banging commenced at 7am. Getting back to sleep was near imposible and we spent the rest of that day tired and worn out. Room was very disappointing as it did not resemble photos on Expedia. We got room on 3rd floor with no lift in the building or help to carry the luggage. Very little directions from the staff upon arrival. I am glad they take cleaning in the hotel seriously but vacuuming at 7am is not ideal on your break!!! Overall room was tiny and outdated but clean. If you like moving back it time (something like 2 decades or more) it is perfect! Friendly enough staff and great location made it up for the inconvenience!

Great warm hotel near to the old town.good price!
All positive bar the difficulties in getting a decent hot drink, reception staff helped us- we were gasping for a drink at various times. I've mentioned the "coffee" below. Answer is probably upgrade to a hotel with tea making facilities in room if this is important to you. Although it was a pain, it didn't put us off. We'd stay here again no problem. Didn't hear any trains as others have said in reviews. Staff all very helpful and communication was excellent before and during our stay 5/5

close to bus station
We went by bus from Vilnius to Riga and wanted a hotel close to the bus station and close to the old town. It was great, not very many amenities but clean, functional, and friendly staff at the reception. There's breakfast, but the coffee was not drinkable, so be it. We booked the room at a very good rate, actually half of what we paid for rooms in Tallinn and Riga, and quite honestly, we liked this hotel the best! However, wifi was a bit spotty: on the first day speed was very slow but ok for emailing, on the second day speed was ok for Netflix.

Convenient hotel - excellent value
The Mikotel was ideal as a cheap base for exploring Vilnius. Near the station and convenient for the old town. For the price, the service was excellent. All 4 receptionists we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The cleaner was also friendly and very thorough - although the room is basic, it was spotless. For a cheap, basic hotel I can recommend the Mikotel.

Good solution for stay in Vilnius at modest price
Me and my wife stayed at the Mikotel Hotel for two nights and found out that it was a right solution for our brief nostalgic visit, which we didn't want to be expensive. Our idea was just to roam about trying to recognize the streets 25 years after. It turned out that we arrived just in time for the grandiose St. Casimir's Fair (Kaziuko mugė) and we were almost in the midst of it all, since the hotel was within five-minute walk from the City Hall, where the fair area began and then continued down to the Cathedral Square and up Gediminas Avenue (Gedimino prospektas), occupying also a few neighboring streets.

If you like luxury this is not for you, but if you want good value it is. It's clean and central and has comfortable beds - at a great price. The staff are friendly too.

Only 10 minutes walk to the train and bus station, which was extremely convenient for catching an early bus. Approx. 13 minutes walk to get to the old town. It is located close to the market area and desert after dark. It might be not good for ladies. Hotel staff was nice and spoke reasonably good English. Room was clean. Wifi was strong at 4/F floor. Free breakfast was good, though ivery simple. No lift was the main concern, I had to take the luggage to 4/F by stairs.

Nice clean hotel close to coach station and train
Good value. It is much closer to the town historic centre than it looks on the map, just 100m to gates of dawn chruch and from there you are at the start of the historic old town. I was very happy to have found this hotel for my stay.

Great Little Hotel for the Budget Conscious
Great little hotel for the budget conscious. Rooms appear to have been recently renovated and are comfortable given their small size. Nice little breakfast is served. Eating area is extremely small, so may have to wait for a seat. An excellent value for the price.

Cheap, close to everything and comfortable.
The hotel was good enough especially for the cost. You can walk to city center pretty easily. The breakfast is nothing special but for 30 euro a night, what can you demand? ;-) The only thing I did not appreciate was a taller younger man who I thought was rude on a few occasions for no reason. He seemed to be nice the next day so maybe it was a bad day? Besides that, room is clean but looks old. Again, great price so no complaining on old décor!

I have a pleasant stay at there with nice and helpful staffs. I have stayed at 2/F, so, i can still have wifi connection at my room. Double room is not spacious enough for putting 2 big suitcases at once, but for me, just alone, it doesn't matter!Mattress is soft type! Bathroom is cleanliness with strong hot water and you can borrow hair dryer at the reception. No kettle or bottle of water at room, but there is a big supermarket and central market at the corner, its not a big deal! Breakfast was included in buffet style, but not too much choice, cheese, salami, boiled egg, ham, yogurt, cereal, fruits and bread.. but trust me, u must be full. The most important thing is just 12 seats in the dining room! There is 24 hrs reception, so, no fear if i came back to the hotel even it locates at "Red light Area" I will stay there again if i came back to Vilnius

Quite satisfactory for a short stay
We needed a budget hotel for one overnight stay and this was it. Room okay but 3 bedded (asked for a double) so little space. Very noisy neighbourhood, the most basic breakfast in a room of 3 tables and 9 chairs (guests had to wait for a place!). But for the price I suppose one can expect nothing more, so on the whole satisfied with the hotel.
