“A great place on the Riviera”

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here. The location was great, the view from our balcony was beautiful, and the Riviera is very conveniently located. We took the train to Monaco and Nice. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

“Enjoyed stay, but it is a 2 star”

Stayed 6 nights during Monaco Grand Prix. Location very good, room adequate with two complaints. As for the good, located in the commercial centre of Villefranche, very close to bus to Nice/Monaco, only a few hundred metres from the seafront and 15 minute walk to the train station (short ride to Nice, Monaco and Italian border town). Just be sure that you can walk uphill on the way back to hotel. Lots of restaurants down at the seafront, with outdoor seating. Reception staff were friendly and responsive. We did not have breakfast in hotel, but nice bakery and fruit stand around corner. Room was adequate size and TV and air conditioner worked. Not much street noise in our room, but probably is in rooms facing street. As for the complaints, shower was ridiculously small, shower wand leaked and curtain was too short. Impossible to keep from flooding floor. As a result, bathroom was always damp and mouldy smelling. Could see mould on tile. No soap, just basic gel in awkward dispensers. Second complaint, noise from adjacent rooms. Could hear normal conversation and person snoring in next room like they were with us. Unfortunately, these two things detract quite a bit from what otherwise was a good stay

“Hôtel modeste mais en bonne zone touristique”

Confort modeste.En plein centre de Villefranche-Mer, ce qui doit être très bruyant en été.Concierges très dévoués(un homme la nuit, une femme la journée). A recommander à des gens à budget limité.
