Lobby Bar - Traditional-style bar-lounge with crystal light fixtures, wood ceiling and panelling, brocade walls, grey marble floor, rose-coloured banquettes and bar stools. Open early morning to late night for espresso, cocktails, and more.
Recreation
A health club 300 metres from the hotel offers exercise classes such as aerobics and yoga. Hire bicycles are stationed outside underground stations, including the Neubaugasse station in front of the hotel.
Hiking and jogging trails, a golf course, a public swimming pool, and an amusement park featuring a 200-foot Ferris wheel are among the attractions in the vast Prater park established by Emperor Joseph II in 1766. The park begins four kilometres from the hotel, and there is an underground station (Prater) near the amusement park.

“Hotel dans l'ensemble très bien.”
Nous avons été déçu par le petit-déjeuner (jus d'orange imbuvable et manque de choix de pain si on arrivait une heure avant la fin du service). Le personnel semblait peu expérimenté. Sinon tout était très bien et propre et surtout très bien situé.
“Excellent base for Vienna”
Hotel very well run, excellent staff, extremely good breakfast, superior room worthwhile. Hotel very close to underground and easy walk into the centre of city. Recommended for short or longer breaks.
“Very relaxing trip”
My fiancee and I stayed at the Hotel Kummer over Christmas 2005. The staff were helpful and very patient in dealing with my rusty German (though everybody I spoke to turned out to be reasonably fluent in English). The room itself was very clean and comfortable; the only downside we found was that the traffic noise could be a little loud. Location-wise, the Hotel is very convenient, right next to the Neubaugasse station on the U3 line.
“An excellent old fashioned style hotel”
Lovely warm (stayed over Christmas) and spacious double room. Single rooms a little small. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection for buffet breakfast. (Only ate in the hotel for breakfast) The bar is a little small and has no dedicated staff relying on restaurant waiting staff.
“You must try the breakfast!”
Make sure your booking includes breakfast as the choice is excellent - fill up and you won't need lunch. The Kummer is very conveniently situated opposite an underground station, three stops from the centre (St. Stephen's Cathedral). The bathrooms seem to have been renovated recently - they are spotless and modern. Don't worry about being on the main shopping street - when the double glazed windows are closed, you cannot hear a thing.

A1, Well pleased, our stay was wonderful from start to finish, the room was first class and the staff were as well, I would have to single out walter for praise he made our stay even better as he tendered to our needs.

Hôtel très confortable! Situation idéale pour visiter Vienne: la station de métro est juste en face de l'hôtel et à 2 stations de métro du centre de Vienne (à peine 10 minutes). Petit déjeuner buffet de grande qualité!
“Great hotel, would definitely recommend!!”
Absolutely wonderful hotel, great location (only a 10 minute walk to Hofbrug area and old town), lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, polite helpful staff, clean spacious rooms and even free internet in the lobby - couldn't ask for a better stay... especially for the price! Would definitely return there if I ever go back to Vienna and recommend to others :)
